Exactly what it says on the box
The product arrived well-packaged in a sturdy box with as little wasted material as possible, so that's an extra bonus point on environmental friendliness. The first impression of the extension tower was that the plastic did seem a little cheap, as you can visibly see the seam going down the middle of the product where the two plastic pieces were fused together, which I notice has also been deliberately airbrushed out of all but one of the product photographs on their Amazon page. However, upon further examination, it is not really an issue either structurally or visually. The design is unique (to me). It blends in well plopped onto my desk, tucked away in the corner, giving the desk a slightly modern feel, or something, I don't know, I'm not into all that arty farty feng shui or whatever you want to call it. But it looks nice and blends in well is the point I'm trying to make. The fact that it is designed as a tower rather than your usual standard rectangle extension lead means that it is easier to access the plugs you insert into it, and it is also easier to keep clean of dust and dog hair (very handy if, like me, you rescued a Siberian Husky before you realised what a bloody mess they constantly make with their hair...). The extension tower comes with a total of eight plug sockets - four on either side. Which is really more than the average person needs. Most standard UK extension leads usually come with just four plug sockets. So having eight in one extension tower is a bonus. As said, there are 4 sockets on each left and right side of the extension tower, meaning that you should be able to run any long cables tidily around the room from either (or both) directions to plug into the tower with ease and no faff. Both sides also come with an independent flick switch that can be used to turn off or on all the sockets plugged into that side. This provides ease of access and also ease of safety. There are also four USB-A sockets and two USB-C sockets at the front of the tower, providing you with plenty of charging points for your USB devices. For newer devices, such as the iPad Pro, the USB charging cable provided with the device by Apple will fit snuggly into one of the USB-C sockets and charge the device relatively quickly. Also on the front is a display that shows how much power the USB slots are using (ahem, or rather how many volts/amps your iPad is costing you to charge). To be honest, as interesting as it is to know that information, it's also pretty distracting when the display changes while you're trying to focus on your work on the computer. I have fixed this problem by moving my pen holder slightly to the left on my desk to block the display reading. The extension tower also has a built-in overload protection button, which will immediately cut off the power to the extension tower in the event of an emergency or overload issue I cannot test the claims that the extension tower is fireproof up to 750 degrees Celcius, as I have no intention of deliberately throwing it into the fireplace at the moment. But if the tower should break anytime soon while the fireplace is on... I'll let you know, maybe. Overall, it appears to be a very good quality extension tower that I expect will last me some years before needing to be replaced. It is sturdy, has more conveniently accessible plug sockets than you'll ever need (unless you're NASA, or growing a few hundred naughty plants [tut tut]), looks good, easy to keep out of the way, and comes with handy USB sockets which, let's be honest, are really an important thing to have on hand these days). Thank you for taking the time to read this review, and congratulations for making it to the end. Now, plop this thing into your basket and off you pop to make a cuppa tea. You've already spent far too long sitting there reading this, it's an extension lead for crying out loud.

Easy to use grait Tower Extention
This extention tower is fantastic it has 8 plug sockets and loads of usb sockets for multipule usb chargers it also has an overload safety cut out button so it will automaticly cut out if to much power surges through it i brought the one with the 5 meter lead wich im glad i did as it has a verry long lead the smaller 3mter lead would of been to short, its compact so dont take up to much space, its the best one yet fast delivery and well worth the price

Works Really Well in a Compact Space.
This extension lead works well and is so much easier to use and more compact than the bar extension leads. We are very pleased with this item which sits on the computer table, taking very little space and meaning we don’t have to mess around on the floor anymore! The surge protection gives peace of mind, and the various sockets work well. An excellent product at a great price.

Good but buy the longer cable
Wish I'd bought it with a longer cable. I bought the 2m cable. It's a decent extension lead, does what I need it to. Thankfully it has the USB slots and USB C slots. Not sure what the numbers mean though, I don't have any use for that information. I just need it for the Christmas tree and lights. Charging phones etc will be easier

All round very useful, well thought out and sturdy.
I picked this for four reasons. 1) plug sockets and usb charging with different size usb holes. 2) it's tall and thin rather than flat and wide. 3) the reviews were good. 4) there was an option for a longer cord. Reasons I like it. It has multiple uses, it can be used to charge things, even with different usb sizes, while it is being used as a plug socket(s). I don't know about you but I hate having to unplug a lamp to charge a phone. This solves that . I really like that it does not take up much surface space being tall rather than the flat wide ones that take up so much room on a surface. The card, having chosen the longer version, is a good useful length. It's sturdy enough for what it is . I like the black colour. If you have multiple plus that you turn off then this has a switch on each side that you can turn off /on the plugs connected to each side. Ie turn off all the plugs on one side leaving the other side all live, or vice versa. This is find very useful. There is plenty of finger room between plugs when plugs are in place, which i find so much easier to use than some others. I do find the little display light very bright when in a dark room, but the benefit of that is that you can see it during the day, unlike some, and is easily hidden/covered by putting something infront of the display if you have it on and find it annoying at night, so not a problem but worth mentioning in an honest review. For it's various multiple usage, lack of space needed, build, cord length, and look I think it is good value.

Great product makes tidying easy
Very esthetic and slim appearance, plugs/cables all point in one direction in comparison to other towers where you end up with a mess of cables, 3 USB and 3 USB-C charging points are ample supply. Very happy with it and have recommended it to friends and family.

Why didn’t I get one earlier
Excellent product managed to get rid of 6 plugs using the usb & usb-c ports. It’s compact takes up little room and tells you the volts /amps it’s using at any time and has surge protection . Would highly recommend
