When I play video games on my ASUS Zephyrus G14 laptop, I often wished the sound be a little louder, so I decided to try out this usb powered sound bar. This sound bar is perfect for laptop gaming.The box that this speaker came in is minimal with a simple branding. Inside the box is just the speaker and user guide. There are no other detachable peripherals, the cable is not detachable. It is a single cable that separates at the end with USB and aux jack. I have to detach a few inches near the end of the cable so that the aux jack can reach the left end of my laptop while the USB end is on the right end. No special drivers are needed, the speaker was automatically detected both by Windows and Mac OS. The speaker is loud enough to fill in a small room. At first use, the speaker sounds a little muddy, but after playing some music for a few hours, the sound became clearer and more immersive, this is probably because the speakers need a little burn in to soften the drivers. It is great for personal entertainment, watching movies with Dolby Atmos turned on creates separation on the sound and makes media consumption more enjoyable. Playing video games is also excellent with this speaker, I can hear footsteps or gunshots coming from left and right side depending on the game play. I love that this has a big volume level knob to easily adjust the sound level, this is good while gaming because you don’t have to alt-tab out of the game to adjust the volume.Overall, I am enjoying using this speaker. It is great for media consumption and gaming. It is also small enough to be portable to carry around. At barely 15 inches long, this little speaker has a good punch. Highly recommended.

Purchased 2 of these because we went from all-in-one PCs to traditional desktops where the new monitors have no audio. Just needed something to get some sound out of our desktops and didn't want clutter or much cost. These do a great job for your office PC so VERY happy with the purchase. At a price point below $15 I really wasn't expecting much but when they arrived the build quality was actually impressive. No on/off switch (which I didn't want) just a volume nob on the top center with no distracting lights to deal with. The connection is with two plugs, one USB for power and one headphone jack to plug in to your sound output. This is different from the speakers that just use the one USB plug but no extra clutter because the one wire (two wires attached to be as one) has both plugs at the end to reduce clutter (you can gently pull apart the two wires at the end if you need more of a spread to plug in both in their respective ports). Sound quality GOOD- actually nice and loud for an office PC speaker. Good sound reproduction but not much on bass (there is a tiny bit there but if you are expecting full range with BOOM, you will be disappointed) which honestly, I wasn't expecting to get bass. This is the perfect BASIC PC Speaker solution so if that's you're looking for, be secure to purchase as much as you need. For those who are looking for a TV speaker replacement or to have this act as a TV sound bar- Come on, get serious, look elsewhere.

As I'm on the computer most of the day, I listen to Big Band/Jazz radio or watch baseball games in one corner of the screen as I perform other ongoing tasks. I hate wearing headphones, especially for an extended period like a 3 hour ballgame, and wanted inexpensive speakers for the computer to give me another option. This compact soundbar with volume control and easy USB with 3.5mm plug connections seemed like a good match for my needs...and I was right! At 14" long, 2.5" high and 2.25" deep, it fits neatly under the 24" monitor and provides good quality sound for music and baseball broadcasts. Very pleased with this affordable ($10) soundbar and do not hesitate to recommend it. One word of advice: the soundbar is also available in a model that provides Bluetooth connectivity options so be sure to click the correct box for the model you want; as I do not use Bluetooth, I selected the left box - the right box is the Bluetooth model.

It was cheap, works, produces sound, and can fit on a cramped desk space. That was my only expectation, and as long as you have the same expectation, it's a good product for you.Small portable size, good for small/cramped workspaces or paired with laptops.Cable is only about 3 feet long which will be problematic if your setup is like mine and the desired placement of the speaker is a significant distance from the computer.Sound is obviously not going to be amazing and there's no bass, but it's also not terrible.There are some issues with this product however. First, for those who take this into consideration, there does seem to be a discrepancy in the brand of the product. The product page lists the brand name as Marboo, however product images show Phission and some customer images show their speakers (my speaker has this too) as HeanTTV brand speakers. So this is likely not an original product design.There are no buttons, despite information on the store page as well as in the instruction booklet stating otherwise. Just a knob that when turned all the way to the left it will set the volume to 0.IF bluetooth is supposed to be there, there is no indication that it is (or even works). Neither my PC (which the speaker is plugged into) or my phone could detect a bluetooth signal for it.

This speaker is very easy to install, as long as you have a USB available for power as well as a 3.5mm jack for sound output. Just plug it in, and you suddenly have WAY better sound as compared to the speakers from your laptop. I mean, WAY nicer sound! Don't expect thumping base, and don't expect sound amplification. You'll get the same sound level as your computer speaker (or cell phone), but the sound will be MUCH richer and nicer. I purchased this speaker so that I could use my phone as a "white noise" machine when I travel, however, now that I have it, I'll be listening to a LOT more music on Youtube.
