Take your time
Best blade hands down for carbon steel cutting. If you’re having issues with cold metal cutting start with checking your saw for square and plumb. Take your time, yes they will cut extremely fast but you shouldn’t if to want it to last. Also make sure you have a support on the end of your stock so you’re not binding the blade at the end of the cut. I have a few different size saws from different manufacturers and I run Diablo blades on all on them that are cutting carbon or aluminum. This will cut stainless but you’ll want to half your cutting speed so you don’t over temp the teeth. And for the best cutting life, don’t let anyone else use it. Cold cutting is honestly a skill and once you’ve figured out exactly how to maximize the efficiency of your tool you’ll love this blade and the process.

QUALITY
Inch square steel hollow posts & 2” x 0.2” steel plates were used in a 10 inch Dewalt miter saw for about a hundred cuts. Then saw was then used for wood trim cuts. Amazing smoothness of all cuts. Just avoid ‘chatter’ when cutting the metal. Amazingly, good product!

This thing really does chew through Metal
I'm a wood worker who just got a metal lathe and a MIll and I needed a way to cut Metal. I could buy one of those small band saws but thought I'd give this a shot and see since I have a 10" table saw and a 10" chop saw. I am Soooooo glad I did!!!!I just cut through a 2" piece of 12L14 round Steel. Not a tube, a solid round. It took a little bit (3 mins maybe) but the cut was ultra clean and very smooth. I've cut Aluminum, Brass, Angle iron, Steel Plate, Aluminum Plate and now 12L14 for a lathe project. I have some 303 Stainless I might try next. Everything works as expected, I take my time and really let the blade do most of the work. I'm currently using my old Delta Table saw with a sled on top which has really worked great for everything (The 2" 12L14 was a little sketchy) but I'm going to switch to my chop saw soon.FYI Be sure to get the 1" to 5/8" adaptor unless you know your arbor is 1" (Most 10" chop saws ar 5/8")I would by this again in a heart beat. I was going to buy the Non ferrous blade next but this thing seems to not have a problem with 6061 Alum and 306 Brass. Hope this helps.

10" Diabolo burned up after one single cut of 5x3x1/4 mild steel angle
10" Diabolo sawblade failed after one single cut of 5x3x1/4 mild steel angle. I don't think these blades will work on miter saws because the sparks (debris of red-hot steel chips) cannot escape as freely as on a handheld circular saw (skil saw). I babied it and uses minimal pressure and speed from the get-go. It didn't matter, the blade overheated and burnt up after only one cut. I have 35 years of experience of working with metal cutting tools. This 10 inch blade version will not cut 1/4 steel for more than a few linear inches.

I was surprised how well it worked…until it didn’t.
My project was to build a chip cap for my ez dumper insert. I easily cut all my square tube with this blade. I was using it with the metabo compact miter saw which requires the arbor adapter. There is a lifespan to the blade, I got through my project but it seems like the blade has given up the ghost. It no longer cuts cleanly, easily, or straight. It got me through my project, but I’ve started looking for a metal cutting bandsaw that can be used vertically and horizontally.CAUTION!!! Doing the safety squint is not satisfactory for eye safety when cutting with this saw/blade setup. I strongly recommend a face shield. When the blade was new it really threw large hot metal chips, my face took a few shots before I wisened up to the face shield.I would really like the blade to last 2x or 3x as long for its price, but you can avoid buying another machine if you don’t do production metal cutting.

Didn’t last
This blade didn’t last long cutting wrought iron railing pieces 1/2 inches thick got maybe 30 cuts out of it then switch to dull carbide wood blades and they last about the same amount of cuts
