I did my garage with a 2.5 car black rock solid kit. I was pretty liberal with spreading it because I was going to throw down at least 80% flake coverage. I had an existing Epoxy Shield floor previous home owner put down that was starting to flake up at my concrete seams. I washed it with the cleaner as directed, then wire brushed all the chips and filled them in with the patch repair kit. Then I primed it with the rust oleum concrete primer. That did a great job 1 gallon was plenty. I had half a can left over. When it came to pouring the kit I know some people said use a 3/8 nap roller in their reviews but do not do that use foam epoxy roller. If you use a nap roller that is where your kit will come up way short in coverage and the epoxy won’t be thick enough. I tried out of curiosity and immediately saw the coverage difference. I did it in 68-72 degree weather. It set up just like it said it would. The downside of throwing so many chips, especially ones that had some metallic chips in it was I did have to go over it with a clearcoat rock solid. I did not put the anti-slip in because it’s still not a completely smooth texture. However, I did find that kit was not enough for a two car garage even though it said it was 2.5 car garage. I had to do two 2.5 car garage kits. That cost me an extra $460 which made me not so happy. The kits did set up nicely and I could have parked on them in 24 hours however I waited an extra day just to be safe. But I’m very disappointed in the coverage on the Rock Solid clear coat kits. They’re not even close to 400 sq. Foot coverage. 200 was all I got out of each kit. So that is why it’s not a 5 star review. Also, I used 10 lbs of epoxy flakes in a 400 sq. ft. Garage to get almost complete coverage.

Great product. Application is time taking however the result is flawless. Looks amazing and cost effective for what is given. The square foot advised also is accurate to the guidelines on the package and long description.

I recently used this garage floor coating, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations! 🏠✨ From the moment I applied it, I could tell that it was designed for durability and ease of use. This Rust-Oleum RockSolid Polycuramine Garage Floor Coating is incredibly strong, offering 20 times the durability of epoxy. 💪 The high gloss black finish looks fantastic, adding a sleek, modern touch to my garage. The product is resistant to oil, gas, chemicals, and salt, which makes it perfect for long-term use in a garage setting. 🚗 It was easy to apply, with no mess thanks to the convenient mixing pouch system. The product leveled out beautifully, and the final result was a smooth, high-quality finish. It dried quickly, so within a day, I was able to use my garage without worrying about any damage to the floor. ✅ If you're looking for a durable, easy-to-apply garage floor coating that gives your garage a polished, professional look, I highly recommend this product! It’s perfect for anyone looking to improve their garage flooring. 💯

My garage floor is still curing so I can't speak to the durability, but it looks great. I went over a 20 year old epoxy floor. I degreased and washed it first, then used the Rustoleum primer. That stuff is great. I only need 1 gallon for my 800+' garage. My major issue with the Rock Solid is the instructions provided. This stuff does NOT go on very easily. I'm an experienced painter and I thought it was difficult to smooth out evenly. I had to do multiple passes of "W" and "M" patterns with the roller (which also made it difficult to apply the whole pouch in the 1 hour timeframe). Also, you should pretty much plan to throw away anything the paint touches (gloves, clothes, paint brush, etc). My BIGGEST complaint is that the instructions say you can walk on it after 8-10 hours. I finished painting at 3:30pm and didn't touch it until 7am the next day. I thought it was dry so I walked on it. Now I have footprints on the floor that don't buff out with a wet towel. Hopefully I can touch those up with a gloss black paint.

DO NOT. I repeat. DO NOT use the rollers that come with the kit. They were horrible and had ripped to shreds before I had even completed 1/4 of the 2 car garage not to mention they did not spread the epoxy well. If I could start all over again I would do a line of epoxy around the entire perimeter of the garage making about a 2ft border and trimming out the edges. I was so worried about the 45min- 1 hour time frame/making sure I had enough product to cover half that I was focused on doing 1 side and then the other. I also recommend and think that it would have helped out immensely in divvying up the chips is to paint the entire back half of the garage before even thinking about throwing chips. Since I went one side to the other it is so uneven not to mention if you paint half first, before throwing, then you can make sure that you have enough coverage in that regard as well. I gave a 4/5 star rating because of the roller quality and also I think more chips should be included in the kits. All my other grievances are simply due to my lack of experience/knowledge. I hope this helped because I wish someone would have told me this before starting!
