Some common things will prevent curing.
Started off with a 3d print to make a mold of. I left a little in each cup after mixing so that I could check to make sure all batches cured. All of them did great using the suggested 1:1 by weight. I did notice on the smaller mold I made, the hot glue I used prevented curing at the surface level for all points it was in contact with, such as the corners and center where a tiny bit squeezed through my casting piece. On the larger mold, I used some generic air dry clay to prevent silicone from getting into a harder to reach detail I would cast on the second part. That clay prevented curing at the surface level as well. I may attempt cleaning up with alcohol or cornstarch as suggested online but it might just have to be a mistake I take the loss on as a first timer. Overall I'm pretty happy with this kit. I didn't use the plastic parts, I instead used foam board to fit my specific dimensions. It's a great kit to start out and includes everything you need.

Great product and easy to use.
This product is really great. I have used it to build molds for my wife’s soap business with great success.

Works well - but cure easily ruined by adhesives in your mold box
I made 4 mold boxes using 3D Printed parts. The Silicone is easy to mix and thin enough to pour easily. Unfortunately I had to toss all 4 molds because my use of GOOP adhesive to make my mold boxes and hold down my blank totally ruined the cure. Everywhere the silicone mix made contact with GOOP the silicone didn't cure. The GOOP had been allowed to dry for 3 days before pouring the silicone and it still reacted badly when the silicone was poured and made contact. Next attempt I constructed my mold boxes out of PLA acetone welded together. Despite the acetone being totally flashed off and dried, it inhibited the cure of the silicone, not so bad this time I couldn't keep the molds.

Besides Top Quality Silicone, You Get a Great Kit!
This package has a few nice things that'll definitely get used if you have projects lined up for time on your bench. You're already going thru cups, nice graduated oz and ml mixing cups, fat stirs are a plus if you've ever used the thin Popsicle types. Toss out the gloves. You'll hate them because they fall off. They're clear plastic, better off being made into pastry bags. Then the universal mold bits. There's double-sided tape I suppose you'll put on the bottom lip, but I didn't use it. I wish I had 2 or 3 sets of these, to make a big mold. I hot glued clear plastic to the corners for a long mold. Hot glued the pieces and sides down. I used it with silicone and had just a slight slight leak between pieces. Resin would probably seep out. You could put tape on the inside seams. Overall, it's nifty to be able to just have a small general shape you can mold and cast with. Hot glue Does stick to it, use hot water to help clean. Great package, excellent value!

Love it
I’ve used this a few times new, most recently for this druzy insert mold I made from an amethyst cluster I had. Came out great as did the others. Rubber is quite firm once cured. I did a mold of a dinner plate and had a touch time getting it out. I used mold release every time. Will be rebuying when needed.

Unreliable at best
I've been using plat silicone for 20+ years and I love the molding forms, but the silicone itself doesn't cure properly. It seems to be allergic to professional mold release agents and any kind of cheap agent like dish soap or oil which causes it to become unreliable at best. Part A separates in its own container, so its advised you mix part A with a blender or paint mixer for some time before using. Use all at once, as oxidation seems to make this much worse. Even doing this will not guarantee any quality results. I may have gotten a bad batch but I'll stick with professional stuff from now on. I had read previous reviews so I followed instructions exactly and let the mold cure for 9 days before touching it. It ruined most of the pieces being molded because some part of the silicone permanentally bonded to the items being molded, despite the use of mold release on all of them. Never had this problem with Smooth On products.

OK, a long 6hr cure time, 74 Oz total not 74 Oz containers
Says translucent , but these are very cloudy hard to see through , and the downside is the 6 to 8 hours to cure i do like how it comes with everything you need. But the 74 oz is also deceiving.Because it is not seventy four ounce containers , it is too smaller containers which equal seventy two ounces
