The Best USB hub I've ever owned, by far
This hub was exactly what I needed for a new Dell XPS laptop with Windows 11. After performing Dell's recommended BIOS flash, all my old peripherals stopped working and I got the blue screen of death when they were plugged in. Plugging this hub directly into the USBC port on this Dell worked great. And, it comes with buttons to turn off each USB device That's great for me bc I have an old Wacom wireless drawing tablet, the battery is shot and when it's plugged in it's always on. With this hub I can leave it plugged in and just press the button to turn it off.The only con is I wish the buttons acted more light light switches. You have to hold then down for 2 or 3 seconds to activate them. But the fact they are there at all is well worth it.I highly recommend this product if you've recently purchased a new computer.

Great for streaming setup
I got this hub to expand the number of ports I have access to for my streaming setup. I have multiple cameras, lights and control panels that require usb power and high speed data hookups on my pc but only a limited number of ports. This is what I use in one of my usb 3.0 ports to expand the number of things I can connect simultaneously. It works fantastically without any issues so far?Note that usb ports have limited bandwidth, which each connected device chips away at. Obviously this let's you connect a lot more devices but too many may impact device performance. Not a worry if you only use one of these, but if you have one in every usb port you might start to see it. I won't get into the details of how that works here but you shouldn't daisy chain these if you require high performance from your devices (the same is true for any usb hub).

Slick, nifty, and discreet
This thing packs a lot of power in such a small punch. I expected it to be twice the size in order to do everything it says, so I was very pleasantly surprised to see it would not take up as much space. Flawless performance and function.

Very useful addition to any computer
Ever get tired of trying to reach behind your full tower computer and then trying to feel the IO faceplate to try to identify a USB port? How about running out of USB ports or not being able to use that high-speed USB-C port because all your peripherals are USB-A?This device allows you to connect ONE CABLE to your computer and then gives you the full range of USB connectivity with the ability to switch each port ON or OFF independently. This hub also provides external power for charging so you are not overloading your motherboard USB circuitry when charging devices. The USB controller is usually the first thing to die in a computer and then you are usually stuck with replacing the motherboard...

Nothing but problems. had to replace after 2.5 months
Paid extra over a cheap one, hoping I would get what I paid for. One that works. I liked the fact that it had a card reader(which I NEVER had an opportunity to use yet), as well as on/off switches, thinking that might help it to work better too. This unit worked fine for a month maybe? Then the card reader, which DOES NOT have an on/off switch started turning on and off every couple seconds. It did not affect my other work at that point, it was just IRRITATING hearing the binging on/off noises every couple seconds. The mute button fixes THAT issue. Unfortunately, the rest of the ports- the WHOLE UNIT then started turning on and off. At first, it was only every minute or two, so I was able to get my small amount of work done, before it closed the files by shutting down, and making me start over. But now, it's just constantly ONOFFONOFF, and unusable. 35.00 down the toilet. Shopping for another now, but sticking with a name brand this time. I had purchased this 2-1/2 months ago.Yes, this IS a "powered" unit, that was infact plugged in properly as required, for those wondering about that.

sweet!
A friend convinced me to get this little addition. I did not think much of it, but I liked it as we started using it on my PC. I usually do not give five stars on anything, but this was worth it. It is nice to turn off things like my camera and my mic. I also use a key to access certain things, and with this, I can leave the key plugged in, yet have it turned off to turn it on as needed. I also like the four charging ports. I would recommend this item.

More ports for MacBook Pro M3?
No problem, works like a charm and let me expand the heck out of the three USB-C/Thunderbolt inputs on the MBP.
