Finally, glad to find a chlorine tab for our pool that doesn't contain cyanuric acid! The CA in standard tabs builds up and there is absolutely no way to get rid of it without draining your pool and replacing the water! I have some older tabs left but when the indicator strips indicate the CA is at max I can then start using these Poolife NST tabs in our skimmer baskets. Neatly packaged and not all crumbly like the usual 3 inch tablets.

You don't have to worry about over stabilizing the pool with this product! Time released makes the use very simple and convenient.

I use cal hypo tablets to lower the amount of stabilizer in Summer. I had been using some tablets from a janitorial supply store that were made for well sanitization.The Poolife NST tablets have been great for the past week.Other cal hypo tablets turn to a slushy mess pretty quickly, but these look pretty good so far.The main point is that the water is crystal clear without the cloudiness that I get from the Tri-chlor type tablets. (and I have a good free chlorine count, so no growth).

Easy to use. Place one tablet in each skimmer every 7 days to maintain chlorine level without raising Cyanuric acid levels.

These tablets fall apart and foam in the inline chlorinator. Like a moron I kept using them and eventually they plugged my chlorinator to the point where it almost exploded last night. Total garbage product, don't take the chance.Update: the stuff about the tablets falling apart is still true but I now know that what blew up the chlorinator was a reaction between these tablets (calcium chloride) and my regular tablets (trichlor). I had added a trichlor tab because I wasn't seeing the chlorine levels I should have been.Now that I've actually gone back and read it, the bucket clearly states that these shouldn't be combined with other forms of chlorine or used in a chlorinator. They're supposed to go in your skimmer or the floaty duck thing.I'm giving some stars back, but please use with caution.

Delivered quickly and exactly as advertised. Almost all of the other brands are full of Cyanuric Acid. I couldn't figure out why my CYA levels were so high and continuing to climb until I rechecked my tablets. I started using this instead and my levels started slowing dropping. It's not an overnight fix, but the quick fix is to drain the pool and refill.I'm very happy with these tablets and will continue to buy them. If my CYA levels get a little low, I can use any other brand to bump it up. This way, I can keep my CYA levels where I want them and not too high.
