Faction Spectre Gel Bead Blaster

So i wanted something i could play around with in and around my house without causing too much commotion since i have shared walls. Nerf is fun, but the darts are easily affected by the wind, and easily lost/damaged. Just not that accurate overall. Airsoft is preferred, but it isn't ideal for the area I live in since airsoft guns look too real, and the bbs don't degrade. Inside the house your looking at possibly damaging something, Not to mention anything gas blowback is too loud and emits green gas/propane. This is were the gel bead blaster comes in. The gun looks like a nerf style gun so hopefully no one calls the cops on you, yet shoots a soft gel bead that easily disintegrates on impact (also biodegradable). 170FPS is a lot of speed, and though i haven't had a chance to chrono the actual speed, it seems pretty accurate. Speaking of accuracy, the bead blaster is plenty accurate. It's not airsoft accurate, but it's much more accurate than Nerf. The blaster feels really good in the hands and was easy to charge and setup. The app is pretty neat too. I haven't had a chance to try out any of the multiplayer options, but the electronic target that the blaster comes with works as advertised. For it's price, and the low cost of the gel beads, i'd take this over Nerf any day. It's not airsoft, but it's a whole lot easier to use/maintain, and safer for playing with others. Highly recommend it!

Got two of these for my older son he’s 13. They are a lot more than just a gel blaster gun. They link to his phone so he can play with friends (I got him 3 different ones so he can play with a few friends) and each gun comes with its own little beacon target, safety glasses, and they all link to their phones so they can see where each other are and where the targets are. Seems like a cool thing to get them outside to play. I also got the drone target for them too. I like how everything links together and seems good quality I guess we’ll find out this summer. I also like how it has more than just one function. Not a bad deal for $24.99 the bigger gun I got him was $79. So I feel an it’s a good value for the money. And no need for batteries cuz they all charge with a usb. No assembly required just set the target up somewhere and download the app and ur good to go.

This is a gun is lots of fun to shoot and comes at a great value. The target is easy to set up and connect with the app. The gun comes with 3 firing modes; single, 3 round burst, and automatic/continuous shots. The switch controlling the modes don't quite line up with the icons on the gun, but isn't a deal breaker. Shots from the pistol hurts less than the rifle, but has comparable accuracy and range. Weight and feel of the gun is great and a lot of fun to shoot. The range on the gun before the accuracy starts to fall off is around 30 ft. The app is a great concept but could use some work with the chat features. Target shooting and team elimination matches are fun, looking forward to additional modes releasing in the future.

Water must leak from the gel tank from the wet beads and get internally. This broke within a couple of weeks. When it was working it was great.

I purchased this and the Gel Blaster Turret as gifts for a friends nephews, and boy have they been surprisingly fantastic. I went into these purchases with a bit of unease at first, honestly not knowing what to expect as Amazon is flooded with a ton of these types of "Gel Blasters", and various knock-off airsoft, and nerf-style blasters. Since my friend has gotten these, he's been incredibly surprised at their quality and his nephews have been overall incredibly happy with them. For the handgun, I've been told they feel incredible in the hand even for a big guy like my friend who has massive gorilla-sized palms (he's 6'5"). They're reliable when firing, and have a MASSIVE range at which they can fire. They also come with targets which can be used to play various game modes, so even his little nephews who are small can play with them if they go specifically for the targets, and they have a fantastic time playing competing against their uncle with them. They have incredible power for what they are, and seem to come with a LiPo battery which lasts for quite a long time even when turned on at Full Auto. My friend has told me they've run out of ammunition in the hopper before the battery has died, and the included amount of gel balls definitely helps to allow them to continue playing a long time. One big downside however seems to be that they require proprietary software to be able to function at all. Until you download the application onto your phone, they just refuse to work whatsoever, and won't even turn on. Even with this software present, they're still impressive, and at $50 they're quite a deal for the comfort and power they bring to the table when looking for something a bit more than fighting with nerf.

If you want a good intro gel bead blaster that is super high quality, has a lot of built in tech and packs a punch then this is the blaster you want. I recently bought all the Faction line for a 4th of July party and wow did we have fun. This Spectre seems to be the intro model in the line but it's not basic in features. It shoots fast and hard. You can select how many beads shoot with each trigger pull. We used this to target practice and for neighborhood battles using the games built into the app. It is all so much fun! It is amazing that every Faction blaster seems to come with the "smart beacon" as I don't think I have seen other brands have that. I totally recommend!

Excelente blaster, el performance del blaster es bastante bueno, excediendo los 160 fps, 3 modos de disparo funcionales y bien calibrados, sistema de luz UV brillante y calidad de los materiales excelente, tiene un peso considerable en comparación de otros blasters de sus dimensiones, pero es de esperar teniendo en cuenta la calidad de los plásticos y el gearbox interno. Nota: Este blaster necesita obligatoriamente estar conectado a la aplicación para celulares para poder ser desbloqueado, una vez vinculado con la aplicación este blaster funciona normal, al momento de cambiar las luces del cañón, al disparar regresa al color estándar azul, puede ser por actualización del firmware del blaster.
