These do exactly what they are designed to do. The wires are securely held and I noticed no sound degradation. I would have liked the wires to enter at 90° to the plug for my application to conserve space but that isn't the fault of these adapters, I knew that might be an issue before I bought these.

These are great adapters to have around to hook up speakers that are just wire ended. I find myself grabbing these adapters more than I expected when I am testing speakers with receivers. Since they are kind of thick, make sure you twist them in the jacks so that the flat backs are touching, otherwise they will point out on an angle due to the buttons for the wire holders.

Cheap junk. They do not hold wire securely.

These worked well for my projects. Ham radio often requires many different types of connections and these are a good quick fix for a cable. Keep a few in your project box!
