Good quality book with some great prayers and guidelines. I like the gold edges. Prayer for the salvation of Russia threw me off a bit but I suppose you could replace Russia with whatever you wish.

I already had the hardback version of this very good prayer book but it was nice to add the e-book version to my Kindle which I always carry with me. Very pleased with it and would recommend it.

Took a while to turn up but honestly amazed at this prayer book amazing quality.

I love some of the prayers and belief statements. But others are grating and overly pious. ‘ A total sinner, lazy worthless all day long.....’ Hummm not sure that is what God thinks of us or He would not have bothered. What we do maybe worthless. Not who we are - you are worth more than many sparrows, Jesus said in Matthew...So God actually disagrees with what they are saying about themselves at times! . But they are prayers of their time. Take this in mind. Lovely book. Hardback leather. Not sure if it’s real leather. But it looks good. The only grip is no book marker! So you cannot Mark prayers you want.

The Jordanville. A great prayer book, aiming at Russian monastic tradition. There are Morning & Evening Prayers (with a brief Compline added). And these can be as short or long as suits. One could add in the Selection from Matins (The Six Psalms) to Morning Prayer, for example. There are also good Akathists, plus The Small Supplicatory Canon to the Theotokos, aswell as Canons to Our Lord and for preparation for Communion. Its a good all-rounder prayer book, not just for the ROCOR though its targeted at them primarily. I see people at my local Russian Orthodox Church using it. You can follow Morning & Evening Prayers from this on YouTube, where the St Elisabeth Convent in Minsk chants them - this is great if you struggle at times praying alone.

This is one of the best prayer books I have ever used! I became a godmother for the first time one month ago, and I thought that this would be a really special treat to give my godchildren as they came into the church, I have been meaning to get a copy for myself and I’ve been using the Ancient Faith prayer book since I myself was baptized and chrismated. Some of the things that I really appreciate about this prayer book and a particular is that it has cannons in it, the liturgy, lots of extra prayers, it even has extra prayers for the morning and the evening. Prayers then in my other prayer book. The binding is strong and beautiful, I really feel like this is made and designed to last I really feel like this Jordanville prayer book is one that I can pass down to my children, and perhaps grandchildren, and that no matter how much use it gets, that it will stand up to all the wear and tear

All perfect but wouldn't recommend it for new members of the church as it causes confusion on how to use it.

Full of prayers for any occasion. Much needed for any Orthodox Christian

Good prayer book in English for orthodox christians who don't understand slavic.

Nice old English prayers, has almost everything you can think of.
