I was so excited to get home and open these, and was pleasantly surprised at the sweet hand-written thank you note inside!Overall appearance straight out of the box: The boots look very well made and are quite sturdy. Unlike some reviews I've seen, the soles are very well fastened in place and look like they are going nowhere anytime soon. Though they were only priced at $30, I would expect to pay $60+ for shoes of this quality. Did I mention how CUTE they are! I love that the style is so versatile! I can wear them folded down for a grungy style, or fully fastened for a more militant look.Size and fit: After reading reviews, I decided to go ahead and order my regular size, a 7.5. Length wise, the shoes fit GREAT! Though I will say, they are a bit snug around the widest part of my foot, but given the material I expect them to form to a comfortable fit in no time. If you have wider feet, you may want to look into a different option as these boots are more narrow.Overall opinion: Love them and will definitely purchase again in the future! Talk about bang for your buck!

I've received innumerable compliments on these boots, wearing them both folded over and laced all the way up. When I got them I was worried if I wore them folded over the crease would ruin them and they would have to permanently be worn folded. Been wearing them daily for about a month now and this is nowhere near an issue. They are so comfortable I don't even take them off when I get home for the day and they really help keep my feet warm.The only downside is that when I'm running late for class it feels like it takes FOREVER to lace them up, so if that's the case I just grab an old pair of slip on shoes. But when I have the time, it is so worth it for the comfort and cuteness!(Advice for purchasers: when I want to wear them folded over, I lace up only the first two open hooks, wrap the laces around the back and to the front again to tie in a bow. This keeps the laces the right lengths and gives the fold some support.)

I normally wear a size 8 and I ordered an 8.5 after reading the reviews. When I initially tried these boots on I was dissapointed. Even in my thinnest socks they seemed somewhat snug.. I decided to give them a chance and wore them out on a shopping trip. After a full day on my feet I was suprised that my feet weren't sore at all! The heel of the boot will rub slightly but the seller included heel pads with my order (and a cute little thank you card, so sweet!). I found that just wearing above ankle socks as opposed to low-cut will fix this problem, too. I think one of the biggest selling points for me was the versatility of these boots. They are adorable whichever way you choose to wear them and I always get compliments on them when I go out! Love the boots, but if I bought them again I would buy them in a 9 just so I could wear thicker socks during the winter.

I just received these boots today and they look super cute and very well made. Nice and sturdy boots. With great traction. However, they run about a size too small. These would get very painful if I tried to wear them. So I am going to try the process of exchanging these for a larger size. I usually wear a size 9, I ordered a size 9, so exchanging for a 10.

I've never had a pair of combat boots before, but I absolutely adore these!Because of what others have said, I ordered a 7.5 because I usually wear a 7. I was really nervous when I first tried them on, but they fit perfectly (again, I got a half size up). To give you an idea, my big toe is about half an inch from the very top of the shoe. They're very comfortable to walk in. I'm a college student, so I walk a lot, and I haven't gotten blisters yet after wearing these for almost a week :) They're also the same color as in the picture (I got the tan ones). I've already had a ton of compliments, and I will definitely order these again in the future when they finally wear out!So, if you are on the fence about these, I would definitely recommend getting them and giving them a try. You won't be disappointed.

The Boot is awesome and has a great design . I got great compliments on the boots. the only minor downfall I have wide feet so the were a little tight .....But after a couple of wears they were broke in. I got a 8 and 1/2. I should got a nine they really run small cause I wear a 7 and 1/2 But since I have a wide foot I have to got up a few sizes . But other than that the shoe in the whole is pretty sturdy design and the sole is tough as nail the shoe doesn't even look cheap ........They actually look like I spend a couple bucks on them and the plaid inside make them look so edgy......btw because they run small they make my feet still appear small not extra long like clown shoes fyi . I am going to get the grey ones next !!!! They are so cute.

I read the reviews on here, and expected a few sizing issues. I wear a size 10, and I ordered that size; the boots were a little snug, but loosened up after a while. What sucked about these shoes were that they were cheaply made.After two months of use:- the inner lining on the right shoe ripped in such a way that my ankle would get caught on it and make it harder for me to pull the boot off - along with the lining ripping, these weird, blue pieces of plastic scattered around in the shoe, making it uncomfortable to wear- the bottoms of both shoes are cheap; they both ripped, and the heels of both boots caved in to the point that walking in the shoes hurt too much- the soles are on the verge of falling off and torn in such a way that they can't be fixedI used the boots almost every other day during October and November, but now, I'm pretty sure I have to throw them away. Fixing them would cost too much, and I'm better off paying for a better quality pair of boots. If you don't wear these everyday, all day, and don't stand for long periods of time in them, then go ahead and buy them. Otherwise, save your money, and look for something with a quality sole, at least.
