First of all, some precautions: 1) When you buy this item, ALSO BUY UV PROTECTION GOGGLES. These are a must -- without them you risk severely damaging your eyes. 2) MAKE SURE ALL LIVING THINGS (PEOPLE, ANIMALS, PLANTS) ARE KEPT FAR AWAY from this while it is on. Again, this device is no joke. It's like bleach on your eyes and can kill plants as well. 3) The base has both an on/off switch as well as a remote. The remote works fine but the switch must be turned ON for it to work. This means that when you plug in the light, it will turn on until you switch it off with the remote. Hence, the prior two warnings about taking out all living things and wearing UV protection glasses. 4) Make sure you have proper ventilation. In all likelihood using this device will emit strong odors (THIS MEANS IT'S WORKING) so be sure to open some windows or have the vent on while in use. Pros: This thing works. You get two bases so that you can use both lights at the same time. It is POWERFUL. Some people on here I see complain about the stench. THAT MEANS IT'S WORKING. If you are getting a strong odor from using this, it is from the dead bacteria, germs, and viruses that are releasing chemicals -- that is the stench. The price is not terrible either. The remote works in my experience Cons: The bases are very cheaply made with cheap plastic. They're not the sturdiest thing ever, so be careful of the light tipping over. The fact that the light switch must be manually switched to ON before the remote can work kind of detracts from some of the initial usefulness of the remote. Overall, I highly recommend this. Though it's a bit cheaply made, it's also extremely effective and powerful. Though, again, for God's sake REMOVE ALL PLANTS AND ANIMALS FROM PREMISES BEFORE USING AND WEAR UV PROTECTION GOGGLES.

I’ve been using the BAIMNOCM 50 Watt UV-C Sanitizer in my home for a few weeks, and I’m really impressed. The lamp is easy to set up with its standard E26 base, and the included remote makes it convenient to run timed sessions (30, 60, or 90 minutes). It feels powerful — one lamp can cover a medium room, and the dual-lamp option can disinfect a large space effectively. I also appreciate that there’s an ozone-free mode, so I can use it safely without the strong ozone smell when I don’t need it. A few safety notes: make sure no people, pets, or plants are in the room while it’s running, as the UV-C light is strong and ozone can be harmful. Ventilating after ozone use is a must. Overall, it’s a solid product for reducing germs and odors in the home. I feel a lot safer knowing I can disinfect my rooms quickly and efficiently.

Waste of time and money, and potential dangerous, so irritated. You get what you pay for. The set comes with 2 light bulbs. The UV without ozone, which is really the only one I wanted, is broken. How do I know? Because I tested the one with ozone and it turned on immediately when I screwed it in, without even using the remote. Of course I was looking at the bulb, which you shouldn't be doing. But I assumed I would have had to use the remote to turn it on. Otherwise what is the point?

The product looks exactly like the photo. It worked very well in the beginning but the remotes quit working. I don't know if the issue is with the remote or with the base unit. Keep in mind that the timer is in the remote. No remote, no timer. I start the light manually and I turn it off manually. I am happy with the results for the light but the lack of a quality remote is a deal breaker.

The lamps are uv lamps to kill bacteria. You simply screw in the lamps into a base and turn it on. These are not lamps for lights and will hurt you if you stay in the room with them. They are easy to set up and it took me 2 minutes to do so. They look cool and seem to function well. Can't tell since we are talking about bacteria. The room does smell better. They wrk well and should last a long time. Only draw back is thst they are only 25watts.

We just bought a used sauna, and it was important to me yo sterilize it. I feel much better knowing I can use the anti-microbial uv light occasionally in it. I'm a cancer patient and susceptible to bacteria.
