I read soooo many reviews before choosing this one. I have used it twice at community events, probably making about 25 buttons each time. There is a small learning curve but the directions ON THIS PAGE are correct. The directions sent with the machine are incorrect and I felt the seller makes this info known every step of the way. There are a couple times where I had a button that did not come together cleanly, the mylar wouldn't be tightly sealed. I have troubleshooted this and for me, what was happening was that the kids were using a lot of marker on the paper, and the paper was curling up, in the shape of a Pringle. So I gently shaped the paper so it would fit in the cup better, the edges of the paper now curling more down in the cup. Ever since I figured that out, I have not have any issues. I love this machine so much, I will be buying one for myself. I chose the 3" so kids would have more room to color and draw but now that I see how it works, I want one of the interchangeable sizes for personal use. Honestly, I can't say enough about it.

I got this because it was on sale. I’m glad it was because I don’t like it and would have been upset about regular pricing. The machine itself is durable but it didn’t come with very clear instructions. I don’t like how it actually makes the buttons as I’ve struggled with a lot of them and messed them up. But nevertheless after a few tries it does okay.

I had high hopes for this button-making machine, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The machine did not press the buttons correctly, most came out misaligned or didn’t seal properly, making them unusable. I followed all the instructions carefully, but the results were consistently bad. They claim to issue a refund, but the process was painfully slow. It takes far longer than expected to receive money back. While I appreciate they say they offer refund, the delay was frustrating. Overall, this was a disappointing purchase. If you're looking for a reliable button maker, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

You know what? I was "That Guy" on the Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor. And well, I wanted to keep the sticker and wear it every time I went to Disney. This was my sole purpose of purchasing this button maker. Assembly was a bit confusing. But didnt take too much time to figure out. The unit is sturdy and very easy to use. The included supplies aren't cheap materials. The kids figured it out and made several buttons.

This button maker works. It is great for the money. However, the instructions are written poorly and if you’ve never used a button maker before it takes some time to figure out. The instructions are written in poor English which makes it a little harder to understand. One of the photos demonstrates the wrong end of the machine being installed first, which threw us off for a while, until we tried putting it in the opposite way from what was being shown. You have to slide the tray from left to right. Also, on the final step you really have to push down hard until you almost feel like you are going to break the machine. Because it isn’t made of metal I was scared it was going to snap but I didn’t. Once I got more comfortable with pushing down on the lever until it came all the way down, I was pumping out button after button. Give yourself some time to get used to it and it works. Don’t give up!

This machine worked fine for the first 6 buttons. After that, the machine rotates the top of the buttons and now everyone I press won’t one up with the bottom once together and the backs are crooked.

Works great! Easy to put together and to press. Instructions could be better. Do the image side first then the pin back and it will be perfect.
