I make sure to distribute evenly and let it sit for about 3-5 minutes while showering. This works great, it even deposits onto my gray. I found this product by accident and I love it. I am on my 3rd bottle. I was looking for something to tie me over until I could get to the salon. My hair color is from the same brand. I also use shampoo and conditioner for red hair and I add the product like in the instructions and it definitely works and restored the color on my hair.

Beautiful color
I love this. It has been increasingly difficult to find an auburn that doesn't have that fake purple in it. This is a more a true brown/red that I wanted. I'm glad this is brand is offering this again.

Not a true haircolor
I purchased this thinking this was a hair color. (My mistake). This boots color that is already on your hair, but will not cover areas of grey where the color has grown out. This will be good when the color fades a bit, but will not replace a touch up when your hair grows out

Messy but does the trick
So this is very messy so just be prepared. Definitely use the gloves, use an old towel after showering for first day. It did not however, get on anything after washing out and drying my hair. So I loved the result there! I would buy it again.
