The bed frame wasnt too heavy so was easily handled and put together. The frame is sturdy and fully adjustable. It has the added benefit of helping my elderly relative to move about in bed by enabling them to grasp the frame and use it as a sturdy frame. Very happy with it.

Very strong rubber smell. Not sure how long it will take to get rid of the smell, so I returned it.

This bed rail was well-packaged and with the easy to follow instructions, I was able to put it together in 10m minutes. The hardest part was lifting the mattress to install it.It is very solid, a normal-sized person can use it to help get up out of bed without moving the rail. You can't feel this under the mattress. I also tried it on our sofa downstairs, where the patient recovering from back surgery will be spending her daytime hours. Works well.

This product was purchased for my 92 year old father in law, it gives us peace of mind knowing that he will not accidently fall out of bed at night, and provides a way for him to pull himself up during his therapy sessions. The instructions are a little vague, however, the unit isn't complicated and between the written instructions and photos, assembly isn't hard.
