Does the job well
It's an anti static wrist band, quality material, it does the job. Can't say much more than that!

Great Tool
Great quality and I wore it while changing the RAM and adding an SSD to my laptop.

Good enough
Good enough to do the job and to keep you from static build up. It does get in the way when you get in the tight spaces but overall very good for the price.

Affordable piece of mind
I usually wouldn't bother with an anti static strap but considering my build this time was pretty costly figured I would take all the possible precautions. Now I can't advise as to whether or not the thing actually works as I did not test it.However my rig is assembled and running without any hiccups and that's enough for me.The product itself I have no complaints with.Strap is not too tight, doesn't rub and generally is not uncomfortable even over prolonged periods.Cord is a generous length and I did not find any times where it become cumbersome or restrictive.Popper to attach the cord to the strap is pretty sturdy and needs a good pull to release the cord so there's no real risk of randomly becoming detached.

5 stars
Checked it with Ohm-Meter prior to use it to ensure grounding, works, I'm happy. It was a vital piece of equipment because I had a very long build time and didn't want to take any chances in frying the processor or something else. In particular I struggled to mount (about 1 hour) a cooler on the processor, that adds up to a lot of motion and electro-static charge. If you think you don't need one, just get one, I clipped mine to the bedroom radiator so I don't have to install any special sockets.

Item gives a measured resistance of about 1 Mohm - discussion about whether this is correct
I have amended my original review. My understanding that these straps should be a short circuit to allow static to dissipate quickly when connected to earth appears to be incorrect. When I look at other much more expensive straps which are provided with a Datasheet, several of them specify being supplied with a cord with a 1 M ohm resistor. The resistance of this strap (including the cord) is indeed 1 M ohm when measured with my multi-meter.The forum on Tom's Hardware also has a comment about wrist strap resistance which states; "The use of a 1Mohm resistor is to limit current so that if you do discharge while touching a component the chance of damage or destruction in minimized. It allows the voltage potential to bleed off slowly, even though it's less than a second." I can't verify whether this is correct or not, but it does appear that a 1 Mohm resistance between the metal contact in the strap and the contact at the end of the cord (crocodile clip or banana plug) looks to be correct.

Seems to work well
The first thing I did when I received it was used a multimeter to check for continuity to make sure it would actually work, and it all checked out fine. It seems well made and durable, does what it's supposed to, has good grip on the alligator clip, and has a nice color. I chose this one because I didn't want to cheap out on a low quality chinese product that wouldn't even work (as a lot of reviews on cheaper ones said they failed continuity tests).

Comodo
