Firstly the case clearly isn't real leather nor handmade as is claimed on the packaging. Moving on it has a lovely leather-like feel and a high quality appearance. The finish is slightly dull and is soft to the touch which gives it an extremely high quality feel. It adds to the weight of the laptop but personally I quite like the robustness the combination exudes. The only minor point of potential early wear is the junction between the case and clips holding the case to the lower laptop but let's see. The case fits extremely snugly and I'm delighted with the fit and finish. As some others have commented, one of the greatest unexpected surprises is that the lower side of the case rises fractionally (not an overhang) to just cover the sharp lower edges of the laptop and lower lid opening recess which I'm absolutely delighted about, as I can no longer feel the edges at all as I type! One observation is that the slight added weight of the upper lid cover clearly has shifted the balance of a very precisely engineered hinge. The lid now cannot support itself unless pretty much halfway open which certainly won't be an issue for me. Protection-wise I'm very happy. Much more comfortable using the laptop out and about and am no longer at all concerned about dings and dents in everyday use. Will happily carry it in the laptop compartment of my rucksack (Fjallraven raven 28).Overall delighted! If you want a leather look/feel case which offers protection with a high quality feel I'd highly recommend it. If you want a real leather hand made case this is not it. If you're offended by false advertising keep walking! I'll post a 6month review to comment on longevity :)Overall delighted with the case,

This is my second ICARER leather case, my previous Mac Pro 15” that died this week.I bought this case for the new Mac Air 15”and I am extremely satisfied with the case very nice tight fit.It gives my computer case a great feel and I know with confidence that yet again my computer case will be protected.I know this case is going to outlast my computerI highly recommend this case over the less expensive plastic covers that in my experience crack.When I went to right this review Amazon automatically brought up my previous 2017 Mac Pro case review, so I though instead of deleting the review, I would include it below.————-I bought this protective case for my 2017 Mac Pro to replace the broken plastic protective cover which started to deteriorate soon after fitting the cover back in 2018, with parts of the plastic breaking off. I bought this leather cover although more than i was expecting to pay but after reading the reviews i decided to purchase the cover. I normally wait a while before writing a review, however i am writing this just after fitting the new protective case.I am so pleased with this cover as it looks and feels real quality and the fit is excellent, it was really worth paying the extra however i hope in use i don't regret this very positive review.

Nice but expensive for what it is. Fits nicely and looks good. Time will tell if it holds up to general use.

1st thing you should do before you this is to check that it is compatible with your laptop model number.it feel nice and soft. it comes in 12 parts, top and bottom with easy access to ports (USB-C and Headphone).Before you put it on make sure you you know where the clips are and fit it, ensuring you hear the click (the clip is firmly attached to the laptop). To make sure Gove over the clips and push them in, They should about 1 or 2 mm above the laptop surface. This is to make you have a snug, secure fit.The leather is very soft and seems strong and will protect from scratches, the inside is soft and won't scratch the laptop.I used cheap ones and they crake after a while. This looks and feel strong. Time will tell.A bit on the expensive side but looks elegant.

I previously had one of these from Andar for a lot more money... this is just as good, if not better! Perfect fit for my MacBook Air M1 and a nice genuine leather smell and texture. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a leather shell for their MacBook.

Bought this for my M1, although fits newer models. It's a lovely addition compared to previous case attempts. Nice mix of genuine luxury, protection and footprint and will develop a lovely patina in time no doubt. Top choice although brown would be nice.

The MacBook Pro 16 cover from ICARER is just brilliant. The fit is absolutely perfect for my MacBook Pro, it is lightweight but made from quality material…I can’t recommend this cover highly enough…just get one!

I bought a 15" case with no issues but the 16" case clips on the edge of the screen keep popping off. They are not wide / long enough.
