BEST BIKE LOCK
I've been using this for my hybrid bike basically leaving it for about a few hours at a time for college. The lock is pretty beefy and is in fact beefier than some of the bike racks I've used. It is pretty thick and is reasonably lightweight for the protection it provides. It is even recommended by well renowned lock pickers on Youtube, such as Lockpickinglawyer, as it has a very secure locking mechanism. The shackle's rectangular design makes it hard for boltcutters to hold onto. I also chose this lock because it seems to withstand a lot of force before you can break it with a jack. I use this lock alongside a cable to secure the front wheels and a rotor brake lock. Sometimes I even use another U lock with it if I'm going to leave it for longer. The USH bracket has been really helpful in carrying it around especially if you don't want to carry it on a backpack as I do because it hurts my back after a while. So far, I haven't found any cons to using this lock. Keep in mind that locks are only a deterrent. A determined bike thief would get through any lock. Although it is not on the affordable price bracket for locks, it is surely a worthy investment if you want to keep your bike.

Rock solid!
This lock is pretty immense, and very lightweight for the level protection it offers. This means it can still be transported around without massive detriment to ride performance. The EazyKF Bracket allows for this, and although can not be put in as many different places on the bike as competitor locks, it is far more secure than the previous lock and bracket I had (Kryptonite) and doesn't rattle or swing at all. The bracket on the shackle can be adjusted using a screwdriver to allow the user to position the lock on their bike in their preferred place. The main key is long, and the lock itself has a retractable cover which opens when the key is inserted, so as to help prevent the lock getting picked or damaged by the elements. The shackle is very durable and clicks into the base with a very reassuring "clunk". The 230mm shackle should be long enough to secure most bikes around most standard cycle racks.NOTE: What buyers must remember is that it is not always the strength of the lock used, but it is HOW you lock up your bike with it that really matters. There are several good advice videos on YouTube, and those wanting to secure their bikes as much as possible would be wise to watch these and take heed of their advice. I use a Kryptonite cable and wind it round my front wheel, frame and immovable object, and then hook it into this lock, which secures my back wheel and frame to the immovable object (See picture - locked up at my place of work).

Sold Secure Gold and very sturdy
Having bought a new Carbon Fibre road bike and insured it, I needed to have a Gold standard bike lock for when I park it. I looked at a selection of these and eventually settled on the Granit-X plus.Fitting it is very simple, the lock is very sturdy and the key fits smoothly and very positively. The lock bar goes close tot he bike Fram after looking it to a secure bike stand and I do couple the lock with a cable through the front wheel to prevent that being stolen as well.I do like the light that is included in one of th keys, this is a great help when unlocking the bike from the security staple in my shed and I can see this would be great at night as well.Overall I'm happy with this lock. I don't know if it will protect my bike; if a thief is determined nought they will get what they're after but hopefully seeing this one being used will make then look to the next bike in the line.

Good quality lock and not too heavy
This lock is very sturdy and good quality. It was straightforward enough to install the bracket using the instructions provided so I can attach it to the frame of my bike when cycling.I find that it jams a bit when locking so I need to lock it carefully but other than that it's worked great so far.

Solid and not too heavy
A great D lock, a bit different to fit in the bracket, especially if one is used to the kryptonite ones.It might take a while to get used to put it back on the bracket, but the quality is really good, not too heavy.Bought it after doing lots of research and after considering that with the right tool, pretty much everything can be opened (at least in a city such as London)

Very solid lock
This is a solid piece of kit! A thief would have to be seriously tooled up to defeat this lock. The bar shape means that it will not rotate if cut, so the thief would have to make two cuts. I suspect they would move on to easier pickings. The lock comes with good fixings to attach it to your bike.As you would expect for a very secure lock, it is quite heavy, but lighter than others in it's class due to the bar design. The key has a LED light, which is a nice touch, but the keys are quite large to have in your pocket. The price you pay for security I guess. There is a plastic card with the key serial number on it. I suggest you photograph it onto cloud storage in case a replacement is needed further down the line. ABUS will supply additional locks for your key as well, which is useful.
