Great product
Works great and the sensitivity levels are legit. It's loud and works as described.

Works as expected
Great alarm. Just takes a few minutes to figure it all out but it's easy enough once you get the hand of it. I think the remote needs a little work as it is plastic and the key ring attachment part is thin and I can see breaking as other have stated. Alarm is very annoying which is what you want to go with your multi-phased lock approach. This should not be relied upon alone. You bike kit should carry spare batteries and you should test this before every trip just to make sure batteries are good. Small enough to easily conceal.

Worth every penny!
This is definitely not a joke. It works EVERY time, and it's loud enough to hurt. You can set the sensitivity with the key fob. The instructions are fine, but if you need to see rather than read, there are YouTube videos. It's easy, I assure you. I'm not sure how this would fit on any standard bicycle if you want to conceal it, but it comes with two 3M adhesive pads and zip ties for easy install. Fits my needs perfectly though.

Lasted 2.5 years, 1y battery life, loud when you want it, signs of internal corrosion.
I bought this two and a half years ago, and it worked pretty well. The default batteries sucked, but I got some duracell batteries and those last a little over a year. Today they finally went low charge while I was out and unfortunately, two out of the three batteries had good charge left causing just enough of a voltage to allow it to beep the entire way home while not responding to the remote anymore. xD However, I like how loud it is, it functioned just fine in -10F or less weather, up to 100F weather. I've been in rain and had water splash up against the underside. It was right near my tire so it probably took all the mud and splash back that didn't get caught by the mud guard. This thing was so loud I had to warn people nearby when I was disarming it or arming it as it'd scare the crap out of people. Perhaps it could use a different volume of arm and disarm compared to its alarm. The springs inside the case corroded so thats why I have to buy a new one. I was about to replace the batteries again when I noticed. Perhaps it needs to be sealed a little better in the future if water can somehow still get in to corrode the components. However this is an older model so that may be fixed on the newer models. I'll be trying the newer version I found thats USB charge-able now.

Bike alarm.
This is a cool gadget. I like the fact I can park my bike and just turn on this alarm and feel secure about leaving my bike outside the store ot restaurant. It cut back on time from having to untangle the lock and finding a place yo lock my bike up when I ride to the near by restaurant or grocery store. I've been using this alarm for a couple of weeks. I recommend it

SOS feature sold it.
This thing is fantastic. Easy to install to the frame of the bicycle I ride, though it's a little too large to mount in a more discreet location. Personally, I prefer the frame given that if they successfully break through my locks, the alarm device is still on the bike and alerting as they ride it away, as opposed to an alarm lock that stays at the scene of the crime once they've broken through the lock or secured to a removable part like the seat, which can be removed quickly with a simple allen key. I love that it gives a warning chirp before fully alerting. Other products will go through a full alarm cycle before resetting every time they are triggered. Not only is it annoying, it's a waste of battery. I love that it has adjustable sensitivity levels. You can set it to a slight touch triggering the alert or someone actually having to handle the bike for it to alert. That range of freedom gives the ride the ability to tailor the alarm to their needs and individual situation. I don't love the plastic zip ties that came with it. The double sided tape made it easy enough to stick it to the frame and forget about it, but I spent an extra few bucks for stainless steel cable ties to secure it to the bike frame. I spent $700 on a bike, so I'm not going to secure it's alarm with 1/8th inch plastic zip ties. Just a nitpick, so no stars deducted. I LOVE the SOS feature. I have to ride a bicycle everywhere because I'm an epileptic. Riding a bicycle still isn't very safe for me, but it's safer for every one else that I don't drive. The SOS feature triggers when you take the bike below 45 degrees and then disables when you right it again. So, if I fall, the alarm triggers, I bike the bike back up and I continue riding. If I have a seizure, I fall, the alarm triggers, people nearby can hear and see that I'm in trouble and call for help. This, above all else, sold this product to me. No other alarm system factored rider safety into the equation. This product is loud, but not "I can't think straight" loud, more "I really wish this thing would turn off" loud. I have my doubts you'd hear it from too, too far away, but if you park your bike near a fairly well monitored area it'll attract attention. I plan to couple this with another piece of equipment that actually alerts me to tampering. 5/5 so far. Really, REALLY impressed with what I got for the price.

A pain to set up
Wanted an alarm for my bike so I got this. It's a pain to set up. It's loud, but of course it'll only stop the honest people from stealing. I wish it were easier to set up because it's lightweight and small.

Ordered this for a European bike trip where I wanted something cheap and cheerful to just give me peace of mind when I park my motorcycle overnight, coffee stop etc. Ok so the English translation isn’t the best and wouldn’t get an A* in a GCSE but you get the idea easy enough and it works a treat. Click button to arm and click button to disarm. Stick it on with the supplied stick pads and cable ties and if the bike is jogged or moved the thing lets rip with a shrill ear piercing scream that will keep most thieves at bay. If they want to steal your bike they’ll get it anyway even with the best alarm kit. It was £17, it does the job and will do fine.

So far so good! Arrived very quickly as advertised and was fitted within minutes. Nice and sensitive (my friend went to sit on my R1 and it immediately 'warned him' with a loud beep. Gives a bit of a sense of safety when parked outside my house at night. Good purchase and excellent value for money.

On opening up the alarm to try out the batteries and the device, I had a concern. The screw seemed really cheap, as did the screw driver. I was worried about stripping the screw itself or the plastic. But I used my own Phillips screw driver and gently got that screw out to proceed to the next step of opening up the alarm box. They give you a plastic device that looks like a guitar pick and that was useless in trying to open up the alarm box. I got two slot head screw drivers and used those to wedge away at the tightly sealed plastic. I ended up chipping the plastic a bit opening up the two halves. Next, was installing the three triple A batteries. They looked real cheap, so I threw those away and used high quality batteries I purchased separately. The batteries installed securely. Everything looked intact inside, so I put the alarm box together again to try it out. Next, was trying to read the very, very small print instructions with my big magnifying glass. I gave up on that and went to You Tube to find instructions there and I did. So I slowly went through setting up the remote control’s three buttons. That went well and discovered, an excellent bike horn. The seven different high pitched alarm to chose from in pitch and the three different types of noise was a perfect deterrent noise. I don’t get my new e-bike until May and can’t install/ try it out until then. But I’ll install the alarm with the tie wraps and the two-sided stickers provided. The location will be under my seat in the posterior direction to keep it drier. Once you activate your alarm, by the remote button. The first disturbance (dependent on sensitivity setting you chose. I suggest the 4th level) your alarm sounds a warning short beep. On the SECOND disturbance of your bike, then the continued alarming begins. The noise definitely will attract onlookers and annoy your bike thief. This remote is effective for 60 feet away. My Apple Air Tag will be located under the bike seat, just inches away from this alarm - under black Gorilla Tape. The remote control will be located by my right thumb on the handle bar, because of that cool sounding horn. I use my plastic rescue whistle as well and a flicker bell alarm to warn people ahead, I am coming behind them. Then I announce verbally, “passing to your left” and carefully pass other hikers on the bike pathways. The color black blends into my seat and bike rack color and the looks of the alarm appears esthetically good for my bike. Overall, I am confident the alarm/ horn will endure a long time and will do its job to SCARE AWAY THE THIEF or at least slow down the bike thief. Even though the bike horn will be located under my bike seat, I am again confident pedestrians and other bikers will hear this horn. So good price and apparently good, effective bike alarm!!
