Bought this for my grandaughter. Just transfixed by it. Couldnt stop watching the dancing, singing giraffe. Parents delighted too with its antics, colour changing display and the ability to record. Not suitable for very young children to handle, but watching it keeps them amused. Very cute.

Fun toy, decent quality. Kept kid happy for a whole of 20mins like most toys do for a 2 year old.

I originally bought this toy for my dog and the results were hilarious until he chewed it up. I decided to buy it for my 7-month-old great nephew because it's actually an interactive toy for little kids. I'm from Arizona and a light-up cactus that mimics speech and dances around seemed like the perfect Christmas gift. However, I have no clue whether my little nephew likes the cactus or not because his parents never acknowledged whether they got the gift. I hope he likes it and doesn't chew it up.

Piece of rubbish! Music button didn't work and the record button was temperamental. It recorded "piece of crap" well though! Am sending back.

I have mixed feelings about this toy. You need to press hidden buttons behind the symbols for music,volume and record. Once switched on the giraffe will repeat any random sound in the room and dance to music. You can record your own message. For example My name's George, what's your name? Once the adult masters these functions both adult and child can have a fun time. I also found some songs were less well known and sound distorted. I suspect my two year old nephew will enjoy the odd neck movements and frantic beat of the music and songs.

Honest to god, I enjoy this more than my son does! He doesn't seem that bothered by it at all, but I get SO much entertainment out of it. My son is delayed with his communication and speech skills, so I find this toy gives me SO much opportunity to just talking for the sake of it, which in turn helps him of course. It just gets left on all the time, so occasionally it will pick up something I've said, and repeat it back to me. So I reply, "who are you talking?" and Ms Cactus says "Who are you talking to?". I reply, "I asked you first." Ms Cactus replies, "I asked you first". And it's a back and forth that my son finds very entertaining, but I think I find it even more entertaining! It's an excuse to talk, and a fun one at that! Anyways, back to the product itself. The size and feel of the cactus is great, seemingly she doesn't mind being thrown around as she still likes to talk back to me... *squint*. She's very appealing to look at with her bright (but not TOO bright) colours, and her little dancing movement seems to get a good giggle out of my son, when he actually pays attention to her. If it's not evident enough already, I bloody love this thing. I think when my son's outgrown it I might pop her on my desk, I feel she's a part of me now. Who would I even be without Ms Cactus? We all need someone in our lives that is good at listening and talking, and she is most certainly that.. but don't tell her I said that, the stupid prickle might backchat me again...
