Most satisfying than instant
Good size pearls, consistent quality. This is the tapioca I had growing up and it stands the test of time. I make the recipe on the box and a few variations and always enjoy the results. If you have a bread machine with a jam program, you can save yourself some stirring.

Reese Large Pearl Tapioca
Very good quality tapioca. It took a while to find what I was looking for: med/large tapioca for pudding that was not mushy, with no strange aftertaste, but these fit the bill. I will definitely buy again.

BEST stuff for Tapioca pudding!!🤤❤️
ONLY thing I use to make Tapioca Pudding!!🙌 If you like Old School, big pearl tapioca pudding???🤔 THIS IS the stuff you WANT!!❤️👌 YES, it IS a "process" that takes some time and planning! I bought the "6 bags" option and I've already gone THROUGH 3 bags of this stuff!!👌❤️🤤 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!🙌 YES, it DOES take a bit (soak time AND cook time 🙄👎) AND a double boilerBUUUT...... it's TOTALLY worth it!! 🙌🤤🤤🤤 LOVE the large, chewy pearls and I always add "extra"!!👌❤️ beats the pants OFF that icky, "Minute Tapioca"!👎🙄 GET THIS instead!!🙌❤️🤤🤤🤤👌❤️ Night and day difference!! 🙌 You won't be sorry or ever be able to go back once you try this¡❤️👌 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! 🙌 You'll thank me later!!!🙋🏼♀️😂😜

I've become one of you!!! and this is much easier to make than using package directions.
This is great tasting tapioca, but I followed my instincts to make it. I did soak a half cup of pearls in water overnight, then drain in the morning as required in every recipe. The package said to let it cook for an hour, and slow cooker recipes said 2 hours. Well, I decided to just put everything into a saucepan: the soaked tapioca, 3 cups of lo-fat organic milk, 1/4 tsp of salt, 1/3 c sugar (sugar sub. splenda), and the eggs. I wisked well, and heated it to boil, (stirring constantly, it took less than 5 min.) DONE! I like it chilled so I put it in the frig. It tasted really good, and I may add some different flavoring next time like maple ext., lemon, or maybe fresh mango etc. Now for the texture. Although it was very good tasting, I am used to the regular sized instant tapioca and I must be honest, I found the large pearls a bit chewy, and the result was not as pudding-like and creamy as usual. I think I prefer the smaller sized pearls for pudding. UPDATE: I'VE BECOME ONE OF YOU! I HAVE MOVED TO THE LARGE PEARL WORLD!!! After making this large pearl tapioca several times I am now craving it! I have abandoned the regular instant kind for this and will not go back! The taste, and yes, the texture are so good it is hard to believe I could have settled for the other kind. Thank you everyone for your great reviews that led me to try this in the first place!

Nice Quality Tapioca Pearls
These are nice, large tapioca pearls. I read online that soaking them for 48 hours reduced the cooking time but I think that was too long because some of them began to fall apart. Just having them in water overnight is probably sufficient. I added the translucent pearls (after cooking and stirring on medium heat) to an existing pudding. Having it filled with tapioca made it very nice.

Large Tapioca Perals
The price was great. The pearls were a little larger than what I thought they would be but after cooking them, they made the creamiest and fun tapioca. I did follow the tips about soaking the pearls first and then cooking it in my hotpot.

Delicious and cheap.
All my life, I have always bought the Kraft minute tapioca. But like so many things, it has recently gotten quite expensive. It's anywhere from $5 to $7 now. I saw this Reece brand that was $12.92 and realized I could get six packs for the price of two and a half of The Kraft, so I gave it a shot. And I'm so glad I did it's delicious and exactly the same. The price seems to fluctuate, depending on what kind of sale they're having. I paid $12.92 and $10.95 So as long as it stays in that ballpark I will continue to buy it.

Expires in 4 months
I received the tapioca today and was very disappointed to see that I have 4 months to use this tapioca. I would need to make 156 servings of tapioca pudding in four months. I would have expected that I would have at least one year to use six packages of tapioca before it reached the “use by” date. I haven’t made a batch of tapioca pudding yet, from this shipment, but I am hoping that will exceed my expectations. Again, I would have expected a “use by” date to have been further out in the future. I won’t be ordering this again.
