As expected from Casio
wanted to change my old Casio as the battery was not fully charging (used the watch for quite a long time) After doing some research i found this watch that was also in my budget and had extra features from the one I had. So far the watch is working as expected with the main feature I use mostly is as a watch and the step tracker. It seems quite accurate with the steps function. I didn't use a lot of other features so I cannot comment on the accuracy of other features. Really happy with the watch. The watch can be paired with the Casio app. the app leaves a bit to be desired, as I managed to download the watch update after my third try. but this is more of an app issue than a watch issue

Feature rich added to core G-shock ruggedness
Very happy with the watch. Has all the exercise and health tracking needed. The screen is fantastic, even in high sunlight. Have had GPS on for a full day and the battery wasn't significantly impacted. App works well. Much smaller than previous generation 1000 series.

Excellent!
A watch that will be reliable, keep you enthused with your training and like all the high end G-Shocks last you a very long time!

Doesn't work properly
A G Shock with modern smart watch/fitness features sounded ideal - and indeed it would be, if it worked properly! Obviously there're going to be limitations with instruments fitted into a wristwatch, but this is just a joke. It tells me I was in a deep sleep when I was wide awake, the step counter always reports pretty much the same number regardless of what I do, it almost never records a running index (V02 max) for some reason, the phone app downloads workout data sporadically with no rhyme or reason to it, it gets distance hopelessly wrong on the treadmill... I could go on. I honestly don't believe a single number it records. The buttons are unresponsive too. The long and short of it is that I don't know how a company like Casio can release a product this shoddy on to the market. It just doesn't work properly. On a positive note, it's very light and comfortable for a stupidly large watch, the Bluetooth features work well - handy for setting alarms and timers etc without having to fiddle with the buttons on the watch - and of course it's very robust. Legibility is good - the display is big - but not as good as it could be due to the daft low contrast design. Give it a miss.

Loosing connection with phone even when next to it.
You can't rely on notification. From phone if watch lost connection and even when set to reconnnect automaticly it doesn't do it, sometimes you need to push few times some buttons at phone to reconnect Find phone doesn't work when phone lost connection ,with watch that's it you van search phone from watch forever. This Quite important problems would puxh me away from buying this watch , I always used Casio brand and still will but this model is not perfect

Looks good but does not work
Great until it updates and doesn't work properly. I sent mine back. I love GShock but this is utter underpants complete with spoilage.
