Not the best look but it works
I do prefer beanie but my site insisted on proper hat. I have say once worn in comfortable and warm plus helmet stays on whilst bending down.

Keeps your head and ears warm.
The velcro straps do not, I repeat, they do not line up with the head band in your hard hat. Still good for keeping your head and ears warm though.
