febi bilstein 23683 Cabin Filter, 1 unit

This item does exactly what it is supposed to and fitted perfectly. It is a good quality item, being German. I have given it 5 stars, but the frame had a break in it, which did not affect the fitting of it, but couldn’t really knock any stars off as the item itself was perfect apart from this, and I want people to understand that it is a good item, and knocking any stars off doesn’t tell the truth about the item itself. Being a former mechanic, I knew that the break would not have any effect on the function of it.Amazon and DPD (who delivered it) just need to make sure that they are more careful with items, as this one is quite long and can bend quite easily (you could see on the box where it happened.

An easy fit for BMW E90 2.0 diesel , just remove the 6 screws, unclip the 2 filter tabs & replace with new filter....took all of about 5 minutes.Quick delivery & a good price too!

No issues, quality seems as good as more expensive filters like Bosch. Good value for money.

This product fitted easier and more tightly than my go to Mann cabin filter, though the filter paper compared almost identical to the Mann filter.

This is a great quality panel filter with charcoal particles for extra filtration of small particles. Took about 15mins to fit my BMW 1 series. Was a perfect fit first time. Arrived in perfect condition. Highly recommend.

This filter replaced a Hengst filter. The first thing I noticed was that the Hengst had foam around the edge whereas this Febi filter had a plastic flap which was far too stiff and stressed the housing it had to go in. I also noticed there seemed to be less filtration material than the Hengst. I counted the pleats and the Hengst had 100 whereas this Febi had 74. I had considered Febi / Febi Bilstein / Blue Print to supply decent products. I know that although they make some parts themselves they do supply a lot of items from other manufacturers in their own boxes. I've been doing car servicing and repairs for 37 years and this has put me off using Febi for filters in the future. At least you can see what you are getting with cabin & air filters but canister type oil and fuel filters it would give me no confidence as to the construction quality. I normally mostly use Mann but also Hengst, Knecht and Purflux for filters depending on application but in this case went with Febi partly for the easy availability and as it was only a cabin filter it's not like it will wreck your car.
