The are great, I don't know what the negative comments are about
Ppl who say they they are "not worth it" not worth what? Trying to do better for the planet? OK then... These are fine, and they absorb just like a paper would:)

Great eco-friendly choice!
I have been using unbleached paper towels for years but hated all the plastic wrap they came in. I always buy in bulk so you have each individual roll wrapped in plastic along with the entire package wrapped in plastic. I love that these are wrapped in paper and come in a cardboard box - no plastic at all. The rolls are smaller than normal and the towels are half-sheets that are thin and papery; if you like the huge roll of ultra-thick, soft absorbent ones you may not like these, but they do a great job at all my daily clean-up chores and we fold them in half for napkins at dinner. I also use them to re-oil my cast iron pans and I don't have to worry about any unhealthy particles they may leave behind. Really happy with this product and I feel good about using them.

Environment Friendly!
I have replaced paper towels with bamboo paper towels. They are tough and absorbent and do everything the white paper towels did. Paper towels are as waste of trees, and bamboo replenishes itself so quickly, which I consider a huge win.

Like them but they need to have more towels on each roll
I feel good using these paper towels because they have no toxins or bleach. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because there aren't enough towels on the roll for how expensive they are. They get used super quick. I wish the rolls had more towels on them. They are pretty thin and skimpy for what you pay.

Skimpy rolls of flimsy paper towels
I'm a big fan of Betterway's bamboo toilet paper -- highly recommended -- so I was happy to see that they're now offering paper towels as well. But I was disappointed. The first disappointment came immediately upon opening the box: the rolls are tiny! Like a third the size of a similarly-priced roll from my usual brand. Bummer. But I'm trying to cut my environmental impact, and maybe sometimes that means paying more, so okay, carrying on...But then the other and more important disappointment came while using them: they're thin and flimsy. I found I often had to use two layers to get sufficient absorption and durability. And while I can usually reuse a paper towel from my usual brand 3-4 times before composting it, that was rarely true for these rolls.

Soft
Very happy with these towels. Soft and strong. No platic used for packaging (or anything really)

Perfect for composting
Absorbent and soft. No plastic mesh so strength is minimal. No bleaching and the best composting medium without microplastics.

Not worth it
Disappointed. Wanted this option to be great so badly due to environmental friendliness of it, cute packaging (lol marketing got me), compostable, etc. But they’re just not worth it. Even using solely in the break room of a small office, they run out twice as quickly as other brands. They’re just not super absorbent, so you use more, and they come with less on the roll, so you finish them very quickly. What one whole sheet of this does is less than what a 1/2 sheet of bounty does. We burned through the whole first pack in the first week. You’d never, ever want to use them for cleaning because you’d use a whole role in one room. Too pricy to keep buy as frequently as you’d need.
