Rolson28230 42 pc Screwdriver & Bit Set

I purchased this set and had to get it replaced as the ratchet mechanism was faulty on both driver units the replacement was better how ever the main driver unit broke on the 4th time I used it. 1 year had just passed so did not chase the matter any further. I did however after seeing the badge on the packaging that the item was covered by the Rolson Guarantee contact the company to tell them of my experience and see if the guarantee had any weight so I wrote a letter with the product code and a description of the fault.I have to say I was a little surprised to get zero response from Rolson. I guess the badge is just a badge and you get what you pay for.

Excellent, a nice small set I can easily carry with me in my emergency tool bag... the bag I have to cover unexpected computer jobs that arise.... absolutely exactly as described and works perfectly.However be aware that the smaller (silver) bits only work in the long tool and the bigger bits only the T handled tool, they are not completely interchangeable and for that is why I give 4 stars, as I was hoping all bits could be used in all handles

it is a versatile set, full of different bits, very handy for small repairs; the built quality could be better, especially of the ratchet mechanism of the long handle; also the smaller bits are sometimes difficult to remove from the handle and their tips are prone to wear off slightly too easily

The bits themselves don't seem to have that great durability from what I can tell. They're losing their shape relatively easily after a few turns. Also the longer screwdriver doesn't seem to keep the bits in at all.In any case, it's a pretty good set considering the cost of it.

It's cheap and it feels like it; but it gets the job done.
