I brought this as a reintroduction to shaving with a shavette (cut throat razor), but really can be for any type of wet shave.The brush is the perfect pocket size to lather up the shaving soap and for application.Pros:. Low cost. Perfect size for a starter brush. No bristles loss. Excellent lathering ability. Timeless brandCons:. Smell - the bristles smelled a bit weird when new, seems to have gone now. The bristles are a bit too soft at times - tip: when apply mouth, hold the bristles to flatten the shape and stiffen the brush.Highly recommended for any novice or veteran shavers alike. Perfectly paired with Proraso shaving soap for that traditional Italian shave.

Fantastic boar bristle brush.This is a large brush which I soak before use in hot ( not boiling) water.I soak it in a muhle skittle leaving the brush handle out of the water.I use with a triple milled, hard shaving soap which I bloom in a double walled grutti lathering bowl.Result for me is the perfect combination.I use a Feather razor but that is up to the users personal choice.I have various shaving brushes and this is my go to brush.

Softer and bigger than I expected. There was no smell on first use and now left to dry only smells of the soap.The brush worked OK the first time I have used it and has more bckbone than the badger brush I have. I use a scuttle to lather but it was soft not scratchy when I tried it directly on my face. I am told that these brushes take time to break in so I expect it to only get better with use. I am very happy with my purchase and it is very good value.

This is a good quality shaving brush from one of the leading brands. Omega is an Italian manufacturer and has been making brushes for years, Boar brushes are stiff at first and many people prefer them to the, more expensive badger, brushes as they exfoliate the face more. I'm very pleased with this purchase. The handle is white and looks very stlish.

The brush smells horrible when wet, i have tried priming it and washing the bristles many times. But the horrible smell has still not gone.
