Made just after Lady And The Tramp and Sleeping Beauty , and with The Jungle Book not far away, it was a rich time for Disney, and fans of animated movies. 101 Dalmatians is simply wonderful in its own right, though. In Cruella De Vil, Disney put on screen one of its finest ever villains, and its charming collection of characters are a joy to spend time with. There's lot to enjoy on the disc, and as always, Disney has provided something for all ages of viewers. The making-of piece in particular is of interest, given that it brings modern-day Disney talent together to look back at what makes the film so special. Unsurprisingly, Cruella gets a special feature all of her own, too. But if you're looking for an archive treat, the correspondence between Walt Disney and the book's author, Dodie Smith is just lovely. Finally, there's the film itself, cleaned up and looking utterly pristine in 1080p, with a sparkling audio mix accompanying it. It's incredible that a film made so many decades ago maintains such a spring in its step, and it's with good reason that 101 Dalmatians remains one of the most popular, and best, movies that Walt Disney Studios has every produced. -- Jon Foster Review: Doggy Heaven - Bought this for my partner as she's loved this film for years. Doggy Heaven
Bought this for my partner as she's loved this film for years. I'd not seen it for years so was surprised just how good and stylish it was as I'd forgotten a lot of it. This is a special movie. The disc comes with enough extras to tell you exactly why, but in short, the animation, the music, the voice actors, the characters and the story are all top-notch. My kid has loved this movie from the get go. She's only 18 months old or so now, but she's watched this flick many many times. Which means I have too. And it doesn't get old, despite how old it is. It's about a dog and his new partner and their 15 puppies and their owners and how the dognapping of the puppies by one Cruella DeVill sets in motion an adventure. As is usually the case with Amazon, the price was fair and the delivery of the package prompt. Couldn't recommend this more for quality family viewing.

Dotty for 101 Dalmatians
It is hard to believe that 101 Dalmatians was originally released in 1961 and it has finally been transferred onto Blu-ray with all the care and clarity it deserves; the colours are crisp and the animation is simply stunning. This is the heroic tale of Pongo and Perdita on the trail of their missing offspring after they are snatched by a creepy and cruel Disney villain: "Cruella De Vil, Cruella De Vil, if she doesn't scare you, no evil thing will". This is a story loved by children and adults alike and a definite family favourite to have in your collection. There's also an abundance of special features including The Making of 101 Dalmatians, Cruella De Vil: Drawn To Be Bad, Sincerely Yours Walt Disney, Trailers and a Cruella De Vil Music Video by Selena Gomez which will keep any Disney fan happy. Highly recommended.

One of the best Disney cartoons
Cruella De Vil is one of the most evil people in this cartoon. Even the thieves were not as evil as she was. I really enjoyed Pongo, Perdita, and the other dogs and animals who saved 99 puppies. This cartoon deserves a much higher rating.

A brilliant film!
This is a brilliant, classic Disney film, which we love and highly recommend to everyone! The DVD came newly-wrapped, and the film ran smoothly until towards the end when the sound stopped, and the disc jumped so we missed some of the film. We re-wound it and the sound returned and we saw the film in its entirety, but the sound stopped again. I hope this is a one-off issue, and not in the whole batch!

Home Cinema At Its Best.
I brought this for Grandson Freddie and together with his Nannie my wife they watched It together upstairs. All I could hear was lots of Laughing and Giggling and It sounded like they had a good time, so If that's the benchmark they thoroughly breached It. I wouldn't admit to them but later on I watched It with a couple of Beers and some Cheesey Chips and also had a great time.

Perfect !
#1 favourite Disney movie and trying to find a blue ray copy can be pricey but not this one ! And arrived quickly and still plastic wrappped
