I have some metal working tools (lathe, milling machine) and wanted to sort out my garage as a workshop. This unit is ideal. Reasonably easy to assemble. They state it needs a rubber mallet - which I do not have access to at the moment -so I used an ordinary hammer and a piece of wood as a buffer. This worked perfectly. I liked the fact that it slots together, rather than having nuts and bolts. I managed to assemble it within ten minutes and it is now holding some tools and machinery. It is very sturdy. I did think of custom building a wooden workbench, but this unit does the job and was much faster from starting assembly to ready for use.

Amazon Prime is meeting its promise of next day delivery. As for the workbench... It seems sturdy enough although I'm not too sure of the strength of the 6mm (1/4") fibreboard worktop and shelf. It was easy to put together just by locating and lining up the lugs and sockets, some of which needed opening a little more and knocking into place with a plastic / rubber mallet. It took me under 30 minutes. It will take two to move into place if you haven't built it in situ.

Solid enough

Ok, I had high and unrealistic expectations of mounting a bench vice to this - not that the product description gave any inclination that this would be possible. The packaging proudly boasts "no nuts and bolts" but I found the burden of clipping the frame together a bit of an unnecessary faff and thought nuts and bolts would be a lot easier. The instructions clearly state to twist the cross member tabs by 90 degrees. This is an easy but unnecessary task as the tabs were already bent 90 degrees in my case and I initially bent them back to their original position which obviously didn't work. The hardboard shelves are a bit bendy and don't sit right, more so on the top, until weight is placed on it. After all that I couldn't be bothered to put together the 2nd one I bought - it's still in the box. A rubber mallet eases the faff of putting the thing together but some of the tabs aren't aligned well enough for the slots. The workbench is very well finished with blue paint, I'd recommend putting a blanket down on a garage floor, etc, to protect the paint. On the plus side, it does feel sturdy when my boxes (alas, not bench vice) are placed on it and in fairness it doesn't set out to be anything it isn't - the work bench does "as it says on the tin".

The instructions were as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike. However if you are not a simpleton, then a rubber mallet and 10 minutes you will have yourself a work bench. The build quality is better than expected. Would recommend fixing to a wall to give it extra rigidity & getting another top MDF board to give it extra strength. Overall happy.

Flimsy, no bolts to hold it together so often falls apart also holds very little weight. Avoid

A remarkably sturdy bench. It is a no bolt clip together construction that took 10 mins to assemble. Don't expect his to be able to take a vice as the two boards are 10mm MDF however the frame appears sturdy enough for the bench to be used as a base for a heavier worktop that could support a vice. I am using it ti stand a router table on and a work area for fixing larger tools such as my chainsaw

Buena calidad y facil montaje. Solo le falta algo de grosor a los tablones. Pediremos otra en breve. Seguramente con alguna estantería.

Très bon produit, je suis entièrement satisfait de mon achat. L'ensemble est robuste et de belle facture, l'assemblage se réalise sans la moindre difficultés. Prévoir un maillet en caoutchouc pour l'assemblage. Bon produit, bon service, je le recommande sans réserve.

Diese Werkbank ist erstaunlich leicht und doch solide ausgeführt. Der Aufbau ist etwas fummelig, mit Gummihammer und ausreichend Platz aber kein Problem. Es läßt sich natürlich nur schwer oder garnicht ein Schraubstock oder ähnliches Kleingerät anspannen. Für leichte Arbeiten und zur Ablage aber gut geeignet.

Pour le prix c'est très correct, une fois montée la table est stable, solide et permet un rangement propre et aisé. Je ne pense pas qu'elle permette de faire de gros travaux mais c'est bien pour un petit bricoleur ou pour placer dans un garage. La table est arrivée plus tôt que prévue... je recommande. Pour le montage, c'est mieux de prévoir un maillet :)
