Bestop 5246217 Bronco Skyrider for Hardtop

Great top, super easy to use, much quieter than expected, I don’t really notice a difference in noise from the insulated hard top panels (which is a huge improvement from a JL Wrangler we used to own with the dual top). Took about 2 hours by myself to install, used the YouTube video for guidance. Basically everything was very smooth but has a lack of adjustability, so it can end up too tight and overcompress the front gasket (and let the rear gasket leak) or vice versa. It would be nice if it allowed about a cm of forward and back adjustment by changing the bolt cutout sizes in the metal frame pieces. We found a minor amount of leakage at the front with very heavy rain while driving. Easily fixed with a strip of 1” weather stripping along the front edge. Had it on for a few weeks and continues to be perfect. If I have to replace the weather stripping every spring when I put it on, well, 30 seconds and 5 cents worth of material is worth it.

Although the process was detailed, the installation was easy and flawless. I used a combination of the written instructions and videos, but ...*** I am having a terrible leak at the rear of the top where it connects to the hardtop. It occurs when I go through a touchless carwash, despite that being the recommended method. I put in a service/warranty email, but the response time is terrible. I can't get anyone to call or give advice. I'm having to take it off this weekend, which isn't ideal. I wouldn't buy again

Relatively easy to install, but is flaps a bit on the highway and gets pretty annoying. Looks nice, easy enough to operate, doesn’t leak.

The install was tedious but pretty straightforward. The you tube video made it even easier. Highly recommend if you want to keep the back part of your hardtop.

No I’ve been trying to have them return my call It’s not dealing properly and water is leaking now with a replacement header they sent for me to replace and they haven’t replied to my emails or calls left several messages as well and no response

It’s fits like a glove. I’m glad I purchased the upgraded top. The material is very thick. I used a step by step video on YouTube for assembly. Took it to the beach, easy to latch and to unlatch. Love it!!!

Definitely a 2 man job. Last bolt didn't fit. Waiting on customer service to respond with fix. Looks great though. Driving with the top back is super cool.

Well made, fast and easy to open and close. Cannot imagine having a Bronco without it.

I love this top! Installation was straightforward and easy with only one hangup. Two of the last pieces to go on were mislabled: They had the part number for left side but coloured sticker for right and vice versa but it was easy enough to figure out (the coloured stickers were wrong, part numbers were right). I am a licensed mechanic with all of the power tools, and this installation took me an hour and a half. Using hand tools it might take a bit longer. Two people are definitely required, both for temporarily moving the factory hard top rearward and for lifting the cloth roof on near the end of the installation process. Fit and build quality are easily par with OEM. I highly recommend this to any hardtop Bronco owner!
