CARMOCAR Shaved Handle Door Popper Kit 2 Door Kit With Remote ONE SET 85 lb

Was able to use this kit to install shaved handles and remote door latches on my 41 chev pickup using bearclaw latches. Was able to fit the solenoid into the door frame rather than the door for a clean install. This facilitated putting the emergency release under the running board for a clean, custom installation. Works well

The solenoids seem very solid and work well. I can't imagine a latch that these wouldn't be strong enough to pull. They bang hard when activated, so make sure your cable isn't too short or you will bend or break the latch arm. The spring loaded poppers seem cheap, but they are strong enough to pop heavy firebird doors open about an inch when the latch is released. I mounted them at the back of the door right below the latch. Some have commented that programming the remotes is hard to do. I wired everything up and tried the remotes before doing the programming procedure. They were both already programmed to the receiver so I didn't need to program them.

This is an awesome kit for the price.

I'll add a photo when the project is done but I plan on ordering a second set of these for our truck as well these make it so much easier to shave the handles on the show car we are turning the mini Cooper we have into and I feel it just makes the car look better and the ease of use with this kit made it all worth the cost

I guess they're OK. I'm going to assume they work as advertised. Instructions didn't match the product. Basically the instructions were for the solenoid only

Came with everything needed and strong enough to pop long and heavy sports car doors. Make for a great party trick

One popper quit working after a month bought a replacement. Remote quit working a week ago the spare remote worked four times then stopped working replaced batteries still no workie have to keep opening the trunk to press the button 😞😞😞😞
