Back saver for washing a 50-lb goldendoodle!
I love this bathtub. I was worried about buying it, because I had a vision of trying to use it in a small shower that sits inside a very small bathroom. Meanwhile, every review/picture showed people setting this thing up outside or in a bathtub. But with just a bit of jockeying, this works great. I unfold it with one half/one set of the tub legs in the shower and the stairs side of the tub and stairs outside the shower. Then I just make sure the drainage hose (brilliant addition to this simple device that makes my vision work) is inside the shower and directed at the drain. Voila! My small bathroom plan might not work if I had a dog who fights the bath the whole time, because using it my goofy way requires turning the dog to face the front and the rear to wash different parts, rather than securing her to the built-in collar and being able to walk around the tub to get at different parts. My doodle HATES the bath, but can be cajoled up the stairs and urged to follow instructions to face different directions. Therefore, even in this tiny space, it is no problem for me to stand just to the side of the steps half of the tub to wash the dopeydoodle. The tub is also great for using the doggie hair dryer on her, because it's better for my back and easier to keep her contained than drying her just on the floor.I also thought this might be a pain to fold up and store inside the small shower or move it elsewhere for storage, but nope. Couldn't be easier for me to set up and take down.NOTE FOR TALL PEOPLE: If I had a magic wand, or the ear of the manufacturer, the one thing I would change would be to make it height adjustable. I'm a 5'9" woman, and this is a tad too short for me to use without bending. Still, it's far better than bending and washing her old school in a shower or tub and also better than buying a $1K pro tub that adjusts for height but also requires its own dedicated space.** No doodles were harmed in photographing this product, though her expression might lead you to believe otherwise.

Solid, easy to setup and use. Back saver!
We have used this several times and it works really well for our lg. 75 lb. Golden doodle. I was nervous that it would be unstable but it sits solid on the ground. The floor of the tub provides good stability. It assembled quickly and without difficulty. The drain works well and has plenty of length to run directly to our floor drain. The neck harness keeps the dog from moving around and adjusts to different sizes. Compared to the groomers, it will pay for itself after a handful of times.

EXCELLENT option for bathing a medium-sized dog at home
Honestly, I like pretty much everything about this portable dog bathing station! Our dog, Bella (a 46-lb Aussie shepherd mix), has always been good about jumping in the bath tub BUT my older back just could no longer bend over the side of the tub without being in agony for hours after. This truly is the answer to a prayer!!The legs are very sturdy, the steps do NOT give out under the dog's feet & they have cute little non-slip dog paws all over them! Assembly was very easy using the enclosed step-by-step instructions. The side where the steps are (which also lock in place while using the tub) folds down for easy entry & exit. The handle in the middle of the bathing area makes for easy fold-up once bathing is done. There's also a collar that's attached to both sides of the bath with a length long enough so the dog doesn't feel trapped.Although I didn't use the two pockets, I just kept the bathing supplies right in the tub with Bella, having them there is a great option (they even have drain holes). I would say the ONLY thing that was a bit of a challenge is, once your dog is in the tub, when you go to fold up the entry side it can be a bit challenging as now the dogs' weight in the tub comes into play. Also, I kind of wish the drain hole was less deep as it can be a bit tricky getting out the hair while bathing is in process. We bought a hand-held shower sprayer (connected to our laundry sink) that has a toggle on the handle to shut the water off while shampooing & easily toggle it back on with soapy hands. The drain hose is plenty long enough, too! After searching for a solid month & looking at many options online, I'm SO GLAD I decided on the Furesh Big Dipper portable step-up bath tub!! If, like me, your back screams in pain at the thought of giving your dog a bath in your bathroom tub, you'll do well to check this option out! You still bend over a bit using this but it's not nearly as bad. Happy bathing!

Too much hassle to put together and apart
I thought it would be nice not to bend over my dog when washing it in the regular bathtub, but it doesn’t seem to be worth the trouble putting it together before each use and then washing, drying, taking apart and storing this tab. If you need to give your dog frequent baths without taking this thing apart each time, it might work for you… or if you don’t want to use the regular bathtub, I guess. Kind of shaky too. Probably it gets more sturdy with water, which didn’t add as I figured I’d be returning it.

Saving grace
Saving grace for my back. I have 3 German shepherds and hunching over close to the ground is not easy. My niece whom works as a dog groomer conveyed to me that she uses this and suggested I try it. Tell you what it has saved my back big time.
