Rohypnol Brides

I bought this collection based on reading Simon Logan's previous collection; I-O. I really enjoyed Rohypnol Brides, there are general themes that run through all of the stories which, although sometimes repetitive, gives the collection a definate flow.Themes of viral blood-infections, lust, overwhelming and destructive love, a desire to consume and descriptive sexual imagery serve to give the collection a real edge. Simon Logan's unique ability to create worlds that are at once totally bleak yet warm, opulent and heavily laced with a deep richness of detail works well to create a well-written and addictive set of fiction.I highly recommend this collection to fans of horror, erotic fiction, fetish, Industrial and alternative fiction. It's not for the faint hearted but if you like something a bit different it's well worth reading.
