I’d say semi waterproof. If you wash hard enough it will fade. I use it to write on plastic that is stuck on windows. It withstands all weather conditions and fades naturally. Hope that helps

Sharpie permanent markers use quick drying, fade and water resistant ink (stated on the packaging.) I am unsure if washed whether it is fully waterproof.
