Best toy ever
I just found out about these blasters a year ago because my child is 20 and I no longer buy toys. MAN was I missing out. it started out with a neighbor having one, and of course I actually did shoot somebody in the face accidentally over the fence and it did leave a small bruise on their face however, I knew at that moment I needed to have this and there’s pretty much nothing about it that I don’t like it except they don’t tell you how long you should really be soaking the balls so they may be too big or they may be too small. Did they go to the left? Did they go to the right? I don’t know that’s the only thing I can find wrong with this product.

One doesn’t want to turn off
They’re great blasters, I ordered two. My only problems is sometimes in the 1 gellet setting it send 2 or 3 flying. The other problem is one of them doesn’t want to turn off now for some reason, they’re really good blasters but I would really like to switch the defective one if possible.

Very fun and I enjoy the "auto" feature.
I have a similar item but it shoots manually a pellet per squeezing the trigger. This one is an 'auto shoot' at a rapid rate. Uses USB to 'recharge' power. I like this better than the manual one. Shoots the water filled "pellets" , but powerful, and you can feel the pellets hit, even through clothing. FYI_ if you shoot at someone in areas where no clothes like shorts, bare skin legs, it will leave a bigger 'sting' and marks on the skin that do fade after a day or so. It has a 'punch' to it if shooting at other people so caution to not shoot at someone's face. lol. I haven't determined battery life between each charge , but it's sturdy, fun and easy to use.

The Gel Blaster Starfire XL is insane. Really fun toy, super dangerous.
I ordered the Gel Blaster XL for my son for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. It shoots really far. This is one of those toys we will look back on it the future and say " man that was so awesome, I cant believe they actually sold that to kids because its so dangerous". This thing is fun. Its like playing paintball without the mess. It is super dangerous though. I pulled the gun out of the box and I thought I would be funny and shoot my wife in the thigh with this " kids toy". Well I nearly ruined Christmas because the gun came turned up on full power and in fully auto position and when I pulled the trigger for one second It shot four squishy, seemingly harmless, balls directly into my wife's thigh and she immediately started crying. Its days later and she has 4 purple blood welts on her thigh. So I would say 10/10 the kids will love it.

Super fun
These toy rifles are fun to play with. They do sting when hit on skin, but you can lower the velocity if you like. These come with eye protection so that is a plus. The pellets are easy to work with and disintegrate when they explode. The pellets are the same as those little balls that soak up water that people would put their plants in, so please keep them away from small children and pets. My 11 yo loves these rifles, the batteries charge pretty quickly with the included USB-C to USB-A charging cables and they last a long time.
