Vallejo Wash FX Acrylic Paint, Rust Color for Easy Shadow and Light Effects, 35 ml for Model Making and Miniatures

I have used this product not only for 'rust' but it is my go to wash when trying to depict a bay coloured horse. It is so easy to create reddish shadows and highlights over light browns but will need sealing with a varnish of your choice.

Works well on large areas. Not so much on smaller areas as it is very runny.

Prime was quick. This one would create a rust effect. I'd combine it with Vallejo Rust, Stain and Streaking Paint Set or at least orange and dark brown.

Als Wash ist diese Farbe erstklassig. Man kriegt damit typische Rostspuren leicht hin ohne dass es künstlich aussieht. Zu beachten: der entstehende Effekt ist der von verwaschendem Rost, der durch Regen abläuft. Will man ersthafte Verrostung darstellen, sollte man auf Pigmente oder eine stärker deckende Rostfarbe zurückgreifen. Also oben in Wasserlaufrichtung kräftig Rost und dann diesen Wash für die Laufspuren.
