Help is this item made of plastic, aluminum or metal?

I was expecting a metal product but it is made from a polymer not un-like power tools.

Nothing as far as I can tell… I think they were just trying to make it look like a trebuchet. I will say that this item has worked well for me and I’ve gotten much sharper edges on my knives.

they arent wheels, they just look like it in the pics. They are the points that the 2 measurement things pivot in

Does it work on stainless steel, like 440C?
