Good Reliable Product
We now have five Switchbot Blind Tilts and they are great. We've had four for a couple of years and bought another earlier this year for a different room.We run them on timers through the Switchbot app and we have never had an issue with them not working when we need them to. Four are in the same room and have been combined into one rule so they act together. They are great for when you're not going to be at home when it gets dark or for when you're away on holiday. It's very easy to change the time they operate when the days get longer or shorter. They also work well with Alexa if you need to open/close without the timer. As you can see from the photo, they're discreet and not visible unless you pull the curtains back.We don't use the solar panel by choice based on the rooms we have them in.We have a different brand for opening our curtains which are very temperamental, recently when on holiday one individual stayed shut for the two weeks we were away. If we had bought the blind tilts first, we'd have gotten Switchbot Curtain Openers instead as we trust them. We will be replacing our existing ones when we get a chance with the Switchbot ones as based on our experience they are reliable and value for money as they do exactly what we need them to do.The app for Switchbot is much easier to navigate from the other brand too, was very easy to add in the additional tilt when we bought it.

Ideal solution to make Venetian blinds smart.
Fairly expensive and a little fiddly to install and calibrate, but once set up they're perfect. If you get a reasonable amount of direch sunlight and use the included solar panels, you'll not even need to charge them, and you can easily configure them to open and close as needed through the day.And if you have a suitable Switchbot Hub, then you can easily control them via your typical home automation.

Nice system
Easy to install and good unit. Come in white and I coloured myself to match. Bought 8 in total but one of the solar panels stopped working.

Automated comfort
These handy little devices make automatic sunshine as well as nighttime privacy a simple task. There are a variety of ways to automate but I like the simple sunrise/sunset option to allow the most light in for plants and comfort in the day and ensuring privacy at night.I would highly advise combining with a hub if it doesn't come as part of the pack to get the full use of the automation and functionality.I have these attached to both standard venesian blinds and a set of vertical blinds. It certainly works better on the properly supported venetian blinds but it is functional for the vertical blinds. It is an expensive outlay but there are often deals and discounts which make a great value proposition.Solar panels just stick to the window and work, no trouble here and the batteries remain well charged especially in the summer months.Overall a good buy and I am becoming quite fond of SwitchBot products.

Fantastic blind automation
I brought these to transform my blinds in the conservatory into automatic blinds. They have worked brilliantly with the small fitted blinds. I saw a video on you tube and then converted my bay window blinds with a pull cord to tilt blinds operated with these units. Depending on the mechanism to convert its been a bit of trial and error but all my blinds round the house are operated with this fantastic device 12 in all. A big cost at first and the wife wasn't happy but soon got used to the convenience and security. I have the curtain closing device aswell and it's just amazing.

Easy fit. Works like a dream.
Excellent bit of kit. Had to buy the conversion kit for going from cords to twist wand which took 2 mins to fit. Then fitted the Switchbot tilt kit, which took 10 mins to fit. Works better than expected. Well made. Quality. Love it!

NOT Alexa compatible - Prepare for headaches
I had high hopes for the SwitchBot Blind Tilt, but I’ve been disappointed by persistent connectivity issues. Even after buying the additional hub, I couldn’t get it to connect to Alexa, and many other users seem to have the same issue. None of the suggested third-party apps worked for me either, so I’m stuck adjusting the blinds solely through the SwitchBot app.The device itself is okay but feels underpowered, even with an almost full battery. Overall, I’m disappointed—these blinds were chosen specifically for smart home integration, which has unfortunately fallen short.Editing to add; Alexa compatibility did eventually work, some weeks later. I think they updated something or other and it eventually worked. However we were unhappy with the build quality and connectivity issues we faced so ended up returning them all (and hub) for a full refund.

To use with amazon alexa, you need a hub
I got this in the Black Friday sale as I wasn't going to be paying full price for as it as I personally feel it's priced way too high.I got it late in the year so because it's dark and dull with little sunlight, the solar panel wasn't getting enough charge. I will hook it up again when it's more sunny out so I can take advantage of the solar charging option. It's handy being able to open the blinds just a little to let the light in, but still have some degree of privacy too. My kitchen is small and getting to the window to open the blinds is awkward, that's why I got this to make it easier to open them each day. While you can use the app to open and close the blinds and set a schedule too, which is great. I did end up getting a mini hub as I use Alexa/Echo devices in my home. When I first got this, I couldn't use it as my blinds were too close the wallframe of my window. Once I eventually moved the blinds closer to the window, I was able to fit it.The only annoying thing is that the window stick to twist the blinds open and closed keeps moving diagonally, I move it back and it happens again. I can't do much as there is very little space available to make changes. But I am happy with the functionality and sturdiness too. The video was a bit confusing to watch and I nearly threw away I vital part. But I got there in the end.
