No issues 2 years in
I bought this in July 2023 during a prime sale. No problems yet. This is most effective if you go slow and have patience over trouble areas. Probably not recommended, but I use HOT water. I also sweep/vacuum beforehand bc I care about the appliance. It’s easy to use. It’s better for regular floor routine floor cleanings, not constant heavy duty use. I’ve lived in 2 different apartments since having this and it can clean everything in one charge. But if I move into a house no way one charge would be enough. I have a large dog and this has made floor cleaning so much easier.

Title: Beware of the Dreame H12 Smart Wet Dry Vacuum: Horrible Customer Service and Unreliable Product I cannot express enough how disappointing the Dreame H12 Smart Wet Dry Vacuum has been. What started off as a promising product turned into an absolute nightmare. I purchased this mop in February and only had it in my possession for about a month before the problems started. Initially, it worked great, but after just two weeks, the sensor for the dirty water malfunctioned. It constantly read dirty water and refused to mop. This was just the beginning of my ordeal. I contacted Dreame's customer service, and they sent me a replacement part. Unfortunately, it was the wrong part. While mistakes happen, the incompetence didn’t end there. They sent another part, but once again, it was the wrong one. This cycle repeated itself, and not until the fourth attempt did they finally send the correct part. Despite confirming the right part in their emails and having my order number and model information, they repeatedly failed to get it right. The confusion was baffling and incredibly frustrating. By the time I received the correct part and had the machine working again, it was already April. Just when I thought my troubles were over, the charger stopped working in May. I contacted customer service again, and they instructed me to ship the vacuum out for repair. I did so immediately. Now, as I write this review at the end of June, I am still without my mop. They initially told me the repair would take two weeks, but it has been nearly two months with no resolution in sight. Their customer service is beyond horrible. Their incompetent, unresponsive, and dismissive. When the mop worked, it was amazing, but the constant malfunctions and dreadful customer service overshadow any positive aspects of the product. I had seen other reviews warning about their poor customer service, but I chose to ignore them. Don’t make the same mistake I did. I am now out a significant amount of money and am in the middle of a frustrating process to get a refund. If you are considering a smart mop, steer clear of the Dreame H12. It’s not worth the headache and hassle. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration. This product and the company behind it are simply not reliable.

Good vacuum mop
After doing a quick google search I ended up purchasing this unit (H12). The only comparison I have is the Bissell cross-wave (so keep that in mind while reading my review). I thought the unit was very heavy but solid quality. I went through 3 Bissell machines in 2 years because they kept falling over and eventually breaking. The initial battery life did NOT last my entire home and the battery took a good while 😫 to recharge enough to finish my formal dining room (I say this as a person coming from a corded unit) The unit did remove a good amount of dirt/debris from my floors but I also noticed it did NOT touch the grout lines (we have the square tiles with larger grout lines 😩) When initially starting the unit I wasn’t sure if it was cleaning, I had to lean over to check for a glare on the ground 🙃 so it definitely removes any excess water I had to clean/refill the canister 4 times which seemed excessive as well Over all I’m happy with the unit and found it did a better job than me wishing I would mop 😅

So much easier to have clean floors!
I have a toddler and 3 dogs so trying to keep my vinyl floors clean was impossible until I purchased this. It sucks up pretty much anything that I come across. It does great with the long golden retriever hair. I've had it for about 6 months and there have been no issues with the hair getting tangled. MAKE SURE TO EMPTY THE DIRTY TANK. It will stink so bad the next day if you don't dump out that tank. But it came with a cleaning brush so it's not that big of a deal when I forget to dump it. I would purchase this thing over and over again. In fact I purchased one for my mom. It makes cleaning your house 10x easier and quicker because you don't have to vacuum then mop. It does it all at the same time. Best part is, it cleans/ sanitizes the dirty roller itself and drys itself. 100/10

Works well UNTIL IT DOESN’T
This item works well UNTIL IT DOESN’T! I’ve had this Vacuum/Mop for 28 months. Used less than 40 times in my small home. Now getting error that clean water tank needs filling when it is already full. This error does not allow the self cleaning function to work. None of the website’s troubleshooting tips address this issue. Customer service rep says he’ll email me some troubleshooting fixes to try, which I’m happy to do - he sends the same useless pages from the website!! This appears to be a common problem due to defective hardware that Dreame will not repair, unless it happens within 24 months! Spent 1.5 hours on a customer service chat yesterday - only way to resolve is to send it in and find out cost to repair!! Couldn’t even give me a ballpark figure on the cost! At this point I’ve spent ~$300 on a disposable mop.

Used it as soon as I got it and charged it.
I just recieved it yesterday. I was so excited. It was easy to put together. Basically just the handle. Nothing serious. It was partially charged but I decided I wanted to fully charge it so I could get the full experience. When you put it on the base it talks to you. Scared my dogs..lol. Filling the water tank is easy. I was pleasantly surprised they included a bottle of cleaner. When I started cleaning I was checking it all out when all of a sudden the blue indicator turned orange then red. I immediately thought it was the ring of death and hurried and turned the machine off. Then tried it again. The red ring appeared again and again. I looked in the instructions manual and there was nothing about a red ring. So I googled it. A red ring indicates heavy dirt. Orand means moderate dirt. Doesn't surprise me. I have 2 big dogs and a cat. But any way I do like that it indicates the level of dirt. And let me tell you the sludge that came out of the dirty tank. It was gross. I thought I cleaned my floors. Apparently not good enough. I gave this machine 4 stars only becuz they should have at least mentioned the red ring. I'm glad it has that but it would have saved me a panic attack of it was mentioned in the user's manual. But all and all..so far I really like the machine.

Easy use
The vacuum/mop is incredibly easy to use. The solution is pricy however I didn’t find about the solution in the handbook until I found the solution in the box. I regularly mop my floors and thought I was getting them Clean. This appliance leaves my floors very clean and the dirty water that comes out is disgusting. I dump the dirty water outside yet clean any gulk with a napkin. I don’t want to clog a toilet with what this machine picks up. I also love that I don’t have to do much to clean my appliance one I finish using it. I empty the dirty water tank , clean up gulk and wash out the dirt water tank after. I also wash out the filter. I leave a small amount of clean water so I can turn on the self cleaning mode. So far I love it. I have had it about three weeks.

Cool but mopping is easier
It’s a fun contraption to have for quick clean up but the maintenance of it makes mopping seem to be the easier option. It does a great job at cleaning up fresh mud and snow tracked in by the dog, but I have laminate flooring in most of the house. In the bathroom I have tile and it doesn’t do as well and definitely doesn’t do the grout any favors. It surely isn’t a substitute for a good scrub either. Once you’re done with all of the cleaning, then you have to empty both vessels and remove the filter and brush roll. All items need to be set out to dry or they grow mold and become stinky. Because of this, I found myself reaching for the good old mop and bucket instead. If you don’t mind all of that, it does function well and the battery lasts our 1,600sqft home. It just doesn’t seem worth it to me and the value certainly isn’t worth the cost, in my opinion.
