Camber Gauge "Big money saver"
A good quality item, exactly as advertised. A simple tool to use but you must be on level ground to get a good result .i am rebushing the front suspension on a Triumph spitfire and you need to reset it all after replacing the control arm bushes. But i still had it checked by my local Tyre fitter. And he was surprised just how good/ close i had got it, using this camber gauge .

Make sure you calibrate it correctly and check the scale!
Good piece of kit, however it's very important to remember that the car either needs to be standing on perfectly flat/level ground or -when calibrating the camber gauge- you need to set it to exactly match the angle of the ground the car is stood on (otherwise you'll be measuring the camber plus or minus the angle the ground slopes at). UPDATE: I realised when using mine today (for only the third time) that the markings are pretty much meaningless - it's graduated from +6 to -6 (which I think are supposed to represent +3 to -3 degrees in half degree increments) but I checked it against two other (good quality) level/angle finders and the -5 indication equated to 2.9 degrees. I never checked this when I first got it but have to assume it's always been wrong!

Well worth the extra
Having previously bought a similar looking device online and found it useless, the bubble was very sluggish to move making it inaccurate in the extreme. I just could not get an accurate reading on it. I bought this one and what a difference, I was able to set the camber on my car with ease, the gauge was very sensitive and showed the slightest movement of the adjuster. In this case, buying the cheaper one earlier proved to be false economy. Having rebuilt the steering on my car I was very pleased to be able to set the camber so quickly and simply using this gauge.

Simple to use and...
Inexpensive tool. I would rather to use it for comparing the camber on a pair of wheels rather that setting from the start..

Cheap enough to buy for one job and works perfectly
Very impressed - rebuilding the suspension on a Jensen Healey and you need to get the camber right after replacing the control arm bushes. You can do a bit of DIY stuff - an inclinometer app on a smartphone is a great way to do it - but this was cheap enough to save the bother and dead simple to use.

Cannot measure in degrees!
This tool cannot, I repeat, cannot measure in degrees at all. The scale is arbitrary, and can only be used as a comparison tool to check if one side is the same as the other or not. The advertising and instructions are misleading and false. The range, -3 to +3 on this one and -6 to +6 on later version, are NOT degrees. Do not be fooled. This tool is not a true camber/castor gauge. I even now have this in writing from the makers. It doesn't deserve any stars but I cannot put none.

Gunson is good and accurate! Of course it's not as exact as a professional wheel alignment in a garage but on the other hand I don't have to pay 100 euro's or more just to check the camber at my car.

I purchased this model, which was double the cost, specifically because the company features a nicer looking unit in one of their company's videos, and I wanted to have double the quality because other's were complaining about the quality of the cheaper units. When I opened the sealed box, I was disappointed to see that Gunson is selling the same cheaper Chinese unit that you see here on Amazon, but it comes with a blow-molded case and basic instructions. If you have your own case, or don't care of needing a case, just buy the $14 unit. They look identical. BTW, Gunson's camber tool in the video only had plus or minus two degrees of measurement either way, instead of 5 degrees with these cheaper units. I thought that feature would have made it more accurate if it was the same size as the cheaper unit.
