First NAS - Not disappointed at all.
This is my first NAS. I had concerns about the noise some people mentioned in reviews. However, mine is super quiet, unless there is disc activity, of course. I installed two 16 TB Synology HDs. They all work like a champ and I have all of my data transferred. It took about a day to check my discs after I installed them, but the wait was well worth it!Highly recommended!

First Time Synology user
The price on the device was great, I started the setup process haven't yet completed but so far everything went well and I am not expecting any problems. Quality of the device is great, Functionality appears to be on point. Judging by the connectivity very easy, Speed not yet tested. Storage not yet utilize.

Great upgrade from my previous NAS
I had a Western Digital MyCloud NAS for a few years prior because it was cheaper but this one is light years better. I understand why it's more expensive. So much easier to use and offers way more services and add-ons. Highly recommend.

Great Product
We received it and we have not had any issue with it. It's a very quality product and received just as advertised.The only issue was with my country's customs. I suggest the seller include the estimated cost of clearing to the price so buyers do not have to be blindsided by their customs agents.

Easy Set Up
I will buy another one. I suggest a USB C connection that woud be a big improvment other than that perfect.

Very poorly designed power supply
This is a pretty good little NAS. But the power supply connector is horrible! Why do they use a small, finicky and vulnerable little proprietary power supply? I can't even move the box without the power supply connector falling out! It's a really bad design on an otherwise very nice piece of equipment.

Does not hold up
I have used this 4 bay NAS for several years. In that time I have had to replace the unit multiple times and once again I am facing failure of the NAS components. The fans break, the board breaks, the power source has been bad, and thats just the ones I can remember failing. As an IT pro I cant recommend this device. If your willing to spend this kind of money you can get cloud storage for several TBs for a few years or several cheaper names. This time I will not be getting another Synology.
