I've seen a lot of people complain about the price, but trust me, these are definitely worth it. They are made here in America and the plastic is really durable. They are also much larger than most of the cheaper tanks you can get, so not only will they last longer, but they'll feel cooler too (size difference isn't massive, but big enough to feel better). Overall, this is a great product and should serve you well for whatever you need it for. The tanks should withstand normal play and I know there are some that collect these, animate stop motion with them, make dioramas with them, etc. Great purchase.

These are good quality plastic tanks, to the extent that plastic army men are ever good quality. They are durable and solid, and they are crisply molded. It is a close (but not perfect) replica of the good-quality plastic tanks I used to buy back in the 80's. It's VASTLY nicer than most other similar-looking plastic tanks on the market. My only objection are the silly fake wheels on the bottom. I'd understand having no wheels (it's a tank) or moving wheels (so they roll), but this has the worst of both worlds -- it has stiff fake wheels protruding from the bottoms of its treads. They don't spin to let the tank actually roll, and they don't make any sense. I'm really not sure why they are there, but fortunately they are mostly hidden when the tank is upright.

A fair price for a US manufactured toy the same tank they made when I was a kid and my dad bought me I now buy for my son. Worth every penny.

These are great quality tanks and they would be an excellent choice for any boy who likes military toys. The problem is their scale. Toy soldiers are offered in a wide variety of sizes. However, classic American army men are generally 1/32-1/35 scale. These tanks are 1/48 scale, making them appear much too small for those soldiers. The item is listed as 'tanks for army men.' Timmee's own army men (which are awesome) are 1/32. I've purchased their other army vehicles and the scale matches up to their soldiers just fine. It was my mistake for not paying attention, but why would this one item be made out of proportion to the rest of the product line? I found and purchased the perfect alternative - 1/32 scale tanks made by BMC (owned by the same company as Timmee). Both companies offer quality products. My green and tan soldiers are now fully equipped for battle!

A little pricey, but hold up well with heavy play usage.
