Easy replacement for a lost key
When I bought my house we had a back porch screen door with a deadbolt. The problem was that the key was long lost. This replacement was easy to install and lets us lock up the back porch from the outside. It's a simple solution that matches the original lock.

Finally I have lock on the storm door so there's a barrier between my mom and whoever she has opened the door to. Seems to be strong and great quality.

Initial use of key was finicky
I wanted a way to unlock my storm door from the outside of my house. This was the perfect solution! Delivery took much longer than expected. Once installed, I decided to test the lock with the key from outside. The key turned perfectly with ease to lock it, but when I turned it the opposite way to unlock it, it would not budge. 100% my fault for not providing myself any other way back into my house. In sheer panic, I spent a solid ten minutes using every once of strength I had to force the lock back to the unlock position, and it finally worked. It now locks and unlocks without any issues.

I needed a new lock/latch for my screen door of my townhouse because, it was an original lock on a 30ish year old home because, the locking latch was sticking when I tried to unlock/lock the door from the inside during the winter plus the key was not smoothly operating the lock which was causing me concern in the event of emergency if I’d be able to easily open the door to leave if needed. I chose this one and, I’m extremely happy with my choice to purchase this replacement latch lock. I’d never installed this type of lock before and, was extremely happy that I was able to check it off my diy list.
