Noctua NF-A14 PWM chromax.black.swap – Premium Cooling with a Sleek Look!
After using the Noctua NF-A14 PWM chromax.black.swap fans in my setup; I can confidently say they live up to Noctua’s reputation. They deliver top-tier cooling performance while finally ditching the classic brown color scheme for a sleek black design with customizable color accents.🌀 Performance – Keeps Temps Low & Runs SmoothThese fans move air while remaining quiet. Running at a maximum of 1500 RPM, they push plenty of airflow through my case and radiator while remaining whisper-quiet at lower speeds. My system temperatures dropped noticeably compared to my stock fans, making them an excellent upgrade for air-cooled and liquid-cooled setups.🔇 Noise – Mostly Silent, Minor Hum at Certain SpeedsAt low to mid RPMs, they’re nearly silent. At full speed, they’re audible but not obnoxious. It’s not a dealbreaker but worth mentioning if you’re super sensitive to noise.💪 Build Quality – Noctua-Level DurabilityAs expected from Noctua, the build quality is top-notch. The fan feels solid, and the anti-vibration pads help reduce any unnecessary noise. Noctua fans are known for their long lifespan, so I expect these to last for years without issues.🎨 Aesthetics – Finally, a Good-Looking Noctua Fan!Noctua finally ditched the brown! The all-black design is sleek and modern, and I love that they include swappable colored anti-vibration pads (red, blue, yellow, white, green, and black) to match different setups. It’s a small but nice touch for customization.✅ Final Verdict – Worth Every Penny! If you want a quiet, high-performance 140mm fan that looks great and delivers exceptional cooling, the NF-A14 chromax.black.swap is a no-brainer. Noctua’s build quality and cooling efficiency make it a fantastic investment, even at a premium price.⭐ Rating: 9/10—It has excellent cooling and great aesthetics. I would rebuy it!

Quiet Performance
I bought these based on Noctua's stellar reputation without expecting much more than a quiet replacement for my case fans. I was pleasantly surprised when they turned out to be better than I had expected. I use these connected to the PWM fan headers on my motherboard and they are so quiet, way more so than the Phanteks case fans they replaced. To be fair to the case fans that were replaced they were close to 5yrs steady use and were showing the abuse of constant use. I like the vibration dampeners on the Noctua fans, being able to swap those out to match your color theme is nice, and I intentionally choose NON-RGB fans for my case fans as my setup has plenty of RGB already. These fans move a ton of air and do it quietly, they hardly ever ramp up because my case has good airflow and they provide plenty of air. I was rather surprised that my GPU temps dropped with the addition of these fans, that is just how much better the air is moving in my case. While I am using these as case fans they would make EXCELLENT radiator fans if your looking for replacement fans for a 140mm or 280mm radiator. They are definitely worth the premium in price, build quality is superb, you can feel it when you hold them in your hand.Note you may want to pickup additional PWM splitter or extensions if your case is huge, or your motherboard doesn't have headers in a convenient location. I didn't run into this but I could see it being an issue for some. The fans do come with a 30mm extension attached to the short cable on the fans so for example in the pics I included I could have just used a y-splitter on the two in the front and attached one of the 30mm extensions to that and ran it to the header on my motherboard. Cable management and routing is a case by case and personal choice kind of thing though.Bottom line, these are excellent fans.

A great replacement for cheap fans
I replaced a smaller, 3-pin fan with this one. It's very quiet and works much better than the fan I replaced. A 4-pin fan gives the computer much better control over the speed of the fan. Install was quick. The hardest part was choosing which color to use.

Excellent, Quiet, Pricey
These are great fans. I bought them as replacements for some extremely noisy (tone) Arctic P14s. While these are very pricey, I felt safe buying them and I was not disappointed.A couple of things. First of all, there is a white box on the underside of the case that has all the extra colored dampeners (and screws). The front of the case only shows one of each so make sure you check the other side!Secondly, the connector wire off the fan is *extremely* short (laughably short). You're almost certainly going to have to use the included extension. There is also no daisy chaining of these fans, so you'll need a splitter or hub if you want to do this.Lastly, I don't think they have threaded holes, but they do come with self-tapping screws. It's somewhat irritating that they aren't threaded given their price. These push a ton of air and a very quiet except for at the higher RPMs (which is a given due to how much air they push). If only they weren't so pricey. That's the big downside here.

Great Fan, But Stripped Screws Were a Major Issue
For the quietest fan money can buy, I would highly recommend this fan. It does an excellent job at staying quiet while providing great airflow. However, I did run into a problem when I received it—all the screws were stripped. This was pretty frustrating during assembly. Despite that issue, the fan itself works really well, so if you're willing to overlook the screw problem, it’s a solid choice.

Bit Pricy but ever so quiet and easy to configure for both PWM and Voltage controls.
I bought these for a build and they work great, so very quiet, especially when you configure the settings for Temperature control, can control them using PWM or by Voltage. If they ever go to Max speed, there is some noise, but it helps cool case very quickly.

Too short
Defintely moves a lot of air and not too loud full speed. Can only imagine once the fans are put on a curve how much more quite they will be. The only thing I didnt like and I took of a point for this was that for the money the cord was too short and is built as an extender coming of a connector right off the fan. If you have a tower I recommend you buy an extension cable.
