Advent Calendar "Winter Village"

Fab calendar - nice alternative to chocolates. Good quality and lovely picrtures. Can't wait to open it!

Lovely advent calendar, exactly as described. well made, well packaged and despatched promptly. My partner is one the very few women in the world who does not like chocolate, so didn't want a normal advent calendar. Did a tea bag calendar last year, this year I was looking for a pretty, traditional one, without chocolate, ideally a snow scene with a bit of glitter. This item was perfect.

It looks great although many of the windows are tiny measuring no more than 1cmx1cm. The real issue is the calendar is poorly constructed. The pictures are not in alignment with the doors and so you cannot work out what half the pictures are supposed to be. The situation is exacerbated because the doors being so small.

Not bad at all. I should have looked more closely and would have realised that the calendar is more suited to smaller children than the teenager for whom it is intended. Sure she will forgive me! But a good size and plenty of Christmas spirit - don't know what is behind the doors yet obviously.

I have had this advent calendar before and love it so decided to buy it for a friend. The widows open to reveal pictures which add to the whole scene and fit in perfectly. I would recommend this for someone, adult or child, who will appreciate such a gift., Brilliant!

This was exactly what I wanted, lovely and Christmassy, you had to search for the windows which were all different shapes, the pictures behind the doors were really nostalgic.... And no chocolate! Also if you had a small light behind the calendar (which stood up really well) then as you opened the windows the little street sceen came alive. It made my Christmas very special

This is a very nice calendar, the picture is lovely. However, the doors are difficult to find as the numbers are not clearly shown, and two of the numbers are actually missing. We have searched carefully, but no sign of them at all.

I dislike chocolate Advent calendars and this one is really pretty. Very small windows but lovely translucent affect with lighting behind. Different.

I am quite particular about Advent calendars, and this one is a gem. A paper Advent calendar is not expected to be "sturdy". but this one is of good quality for its type. Accented with glitter, there are lots of seasonal activities depicted. The windows take some searching to find the daily spot to open, but that is part of the fun. Best viewed with a light source or window in back, to illuminate the pictures in the windows. Lovely.
