Had two of these units and both did not work!
I purchased this item and once received it did not come close to throwing a ball back up into the backet to be dropped down again. I am an engineer and I can assure you the unit was not made correctly. The internal battery was fully charged and I followed all the instructions. I returned the item and requested a new one for replacement. Again this second unit did the same and I noticed the batter required charging within one hour of playing around to make it work but to no avail. I do not recommend this model.

Find The Switch . . .
Fun to watch, works perfectly. Yes, I read the instructions. Yes, I knew the switch was hidden. But by gosh, they did a great job hiding it. My biggest problem was discovering where the on-off switch was hidden (top surface to left of vertical support). It's supposed to be invisible; it is. But once you find it, it is a great watching it, seemingly perpetual motion.

Didn’t work at all
Bought this for my son’s birthday because he was super excited about the concept. Opened the box, charged it up, doesn’t work at all. Magnet is insufficient to make the ball jump back up all the way so the ball just shoots off the rail and onto the floor. Bought it early before the birthday, unfortunately, so can’t return it, but complete waste of money.

So fun to watch, great conversation piece!
I got the wooden version and it is hard to see/find the camouflaged on-off button. I took me a minute to figure out how to turn it on. Hint, it is a small circle on the top about a half inch behind one of the 3 supporting posts. Just quickly slide your finger over this circle to turn it on or off. Many reviewers complain about the charging plug being on the bottom where it cannot be charged without laying it on its side. I understand this concern but I think a charging plug being visible on the side would make it obvious that the unit is powered by electricity instead of being a real perpetual machine, so I agree with the manufacturer that the change plug on the bottom was the best location.

Get another. These don't work.
I got 2 of these. The on/off button on the first didn't work. I sent it back and got another. The second couldn't flip the ball up to the tray. Not enough power. Also, the tray bottom did not taper down to the hole. You had to push it there with your fingers. The second is on its way back. I'm skipping the third.

The quality of the product is great. It is pretty silent and works well I was really happy until it died. The battery doesn’t charge anymore after just 2 months. It was cheap so I’m quite disappointed.
