Great product
Pencil is very nice to write with and comes with all needed accessories. Was able to draw with it for about an hour and lasted the whole time while being comfortable.

My favorite pencil! ❤️
I love this mechanical pencil!!! I had a two of these for several years, but I "reverse engineered" one of them in my high-school engineering class (and ripped it appart) and trust me-- this pencil is durable! The rubber grip is very secure, the clip is metal (reinforced by some plastic too), the twist eraser works with no issues (and very easy to replace). I bought this one because I misplaced my last on.My only complaint is the the corner/edge of the "dispense" mechanizm/button is somewhat pointy/irritable. It's definitely not something that makes this an unusable pencil, but it's something they could maybe improve on if they make another "generation," so to speak, of this pencil.Overall, I highly recommend buying this mechanical pencil. It is very durable and has phenomenal features (twist erase, easy access button for dispensing lead, and a great rubber grip) I'd say that this is one of the best mechanical pencils to ever exist. A beautiful masterpiece culminating great form with great function.

Best pencil out there
I like these as they are a heavier lead, and I am writing while others are driving trucks. These are durable and take some abuse. Also work with a heavier hand. The erasures are better than they used to be. They erase completely and come with added leads and erasures. Great value.

Great but wish both were black
I really like these mechanical pencils. The 0.9 mm lead is the least likely to break and writes about the same as a regular pencil would, making it good for school work. It draws a thicker line that doesn't look like it's been written with a mechanical pencil. It shows up very well and is easy to read. My only complaint is the assorted colors. I would rather have the option to buy only black pencils, as shown in one of the pictures.

Great, but issues with the twistable eraser
I really do like this pencil. My only issue with it, though, is the twistable eraser. When you erase something at an angle, the eraser will twist itself back in, making it a little frustrating. I’ve found that I need to erase holding the pencil upright, or hold the twisting area with a finger so that it doesn’t move. Other than that, it’s a really nice pencil.

The best pencil for writing. Truly outstanding design and quality.
I love these Pentel Click mechanical pencils with twist erase and 0.9mm leads. They are so incredibly good that there's no way to exaggerate how good they are. They're trouble-free, durable, very comfortable to write and draw with, and economically priced. The eraser is superb, and is a generous and practical size for erasing. The click advance mechanism is easy to operate and works flawlessly. It's the only kind of pencil that I use anymore, and even keep one in my watercolor kit for drawing with.Standard leads for it are HB, but the pencil also works well with B lead for a smoother writing experience, though you will need to advance the lead more frequently. This is a great product.

only pencil I use for college
This pencil was frustrating at first, but it quickly became my favorite.Pros: The eraser is huge and lasts much longer than other mechanical pencils I've seen. No need for a separate eraser. Great for students who need to erase often. The lead release button is on the side, and doesn't get pressed when I erase things. Other pencils just start releasing lead when I erased and it was very annoying.Cons: When I first got it, I had a problem with the eraser. When I started erasing, the eraser would collapse back into the pencil, and I would have to spin the knob to get it back out again. I solved this problem by only pushing up and away while erasing, not a back and forth motion. After a while, the pencil became worn in, and the eraser stayed in place while erasing. Basically it's a better pencil after being used and "broken in".As a full time student, I typically buy a new pack of these every few months. I hope they keep making them.

Pentel quality with extreme utility.
At first, I was disappointed since the clutch is made of plastic - The lead advance control is almost nonexistent. 10 click, ~1 cm. This is not a good news for heavy hand writers. It feels a bit of soft, compared to those drafting pencils but not really on the bad side since the lead itself is quite thick and the nose cone, although it's made of plastic, holds the lead securely. I'm not sure this is the same case for 0.5 mm version but I now believe it's not too bad to have plastic mechanism in 0.7 mm pencils. But then, when I started to write more than a page or two, it felt like I am the pen already. The weight distribution was pretty good, even though the eraser component gives more weight to back end. The eraser is ok quality (not as good as dedicated ones from notable companies, except those edge cutting ones) and handy. The side click mechanism, which I was personally skeptical on this kind of design due to my painful experience with other models, does not interfere my grip at all - and I usually rotate pencil while writing to maximize the utilization of the sharp edge of lead. The lead capacity is not very handful but not too little. It can hold 8 - 9 leads at max. So, keeping it lower than 6 would be fine. I believe this is 'good' capacity for this kind of pencil. The fixed lead sleeve is a drawback: it might cause a disaster if you put this pencil in your trouser pocket. Be sure to put it where you can ensure a space at least 1.2 x length of this pencil. But the metal clip is a nice touch. This model is even a different kind of animal compared to its sisters: III and GT. The side click mechanism eliminates any of long connecting parts between nose cone to the lead knocking mechanism which is located at the tail of most pencils. It's more like a front wheel driving car if other models were rear wheel driving car. The most fragile and delicate mechanisms (related to lead advance control) is concentrated at the grip side which simplifies the mechanism even more. So, even though the pencil itself is made of plastic, it will last longer than most other low cost ones. One little gripe is that the lead cap part (which holds the twist eraser mechanism) could become loose after prolonged use since it's just a friction fit between plastic parts. They can wear out sooner than one think.
