Great plugs
Worked great to build this mobile power box for our hunting blind. The plugs allow us to connect multiple 12v accessories to the box and a solar panel.

Thin thin thin
Other reviewers complained about how thing the wire was on the plug side. I read that it was 24ga wire which is what I needed so I ordered it anyway. Well, they were right. The plastic outer part is nice and thick, but the wire is very flimsy and much smaller than the 24ga wire I was going to connect it to.I posted two photos for reference. One shows how thin the wire is inside the nice thick sheath. The other photo shows the actual strands. The one on the left that looks like hairs is what this product came with. The other one is the regular 24ga wire I needed to connect it to. You can clearly see the difference. It’s hard to zoom in for size but the combined wire is definitely smaller. Made me nervous about the V or A rating. In addition to the thin wires, it turns out that of the three I tried, two didn’t work. Meaning the wiring inside the plug end must not be connected because no power would flow.I wish it were better. These are exactly what I need. However, questionable gauge rating and a 66% defect rate is too much for me. I am returning them.

Make sure to pay attention to the wire sizing
This is advertised as being able to work with 50v 10amp systems. I bought it for a 12v 10amp project. The female socket has wires labeled as 18awg that measure only 20awg (if you read in the specifications on the product page it does say the female socket is 20awg). It did work for carrying 12v 10amp for the 6in or so I needed it to work for, but the wires are mildly warm (20awg is rated for 11amp at the distance I need) so it barely worked for my purposes. The male connector is a far different story though. You will not carry 12v 10amp on this wire. I wired it up at first and the wires quickly heated up and started to smell like hot plastic (I turned it off immediately). When checked the wires were very hot, and after checking the gauge I found it to be somewhere around 28awg or maybe slightly smaller. In the small print it's listed as single or stranded .12-.4mm (or 26-36awg).. basically useless for anything other than milliamp projects.I bought these because they were sealed connectors. I think in the future I'll be buying just the connectors, and wiring them myself using true 16-18awg.
