I replaced a set of single-speed levers with these, and they look and operate great.

Initial thoughts and comparison with Tektro RL200
The overall look and feel of these levers is very good. I see no reason to doubt these levers will last as long as I need them barring an accident. Comparison with Tektro R200: Plastic Body: The bodies between these two levers are nearly identical. The weight, and hardness (by feel) of the plastic is the same. The hoods fit either lever. The Tektro is slightly more rounded across the top, and while you can feel the difference in a direct comparison both are comfortable. The lever blades: They are similar, but the Tektro is a bit more ergonomic. The Winzip blade has a little less back sweep, so it has a little more cable travel. Where the Tektro lever end continues the forward curve of the lever, the Winzip lever bends backwards giving the lever the appearance that it is shorter. Pins/Axles: The main pivot pin on the Tektro looks like stainless steel. The Winzip has aluminum pins throughout. The cable anchor bushing in the lever has smaller diameter axles that The Tektro. The Tektro has a metal screw as a stop for the return spring on the body, the Winzip has a molded plastic stop that looks like it could brake. Springs: They look about the same between the two levers. Return springs on levers are mostly irrelevant. Most bikes have plenty of spring tension in the calipers to easily pull the levers back to the rest position. If you are relying on the lever springs most likely there is something wrong (friction in your cables, calipers, poor cable path...). One review commented that the levers are a different "brand" than the listing. They do have a different name on them, but they are the Winzip levers. The Winzip logo is molded into the hoods. In the photo's the Tektro lever is on the left, and the Winzip lever is on the right. I will be installing these on our tandem road bike. I will update after I've put some miles on these. Edit 8/20/22: I've had these on our tandem for a year now, and they are working as well as ever. The hoods have started to split along the seam where the mold came together. Not happy about that, but they are still comfortable, and work well. I'll be getting some Tektro hoods for these. It should be noted that the Tektro hoods are also prone to splitting. I just wasn't expecting it in a year.

Great brake levers with a flaw
These work great for my 80’s mountain bike drop bar conversion but they do have a flaw. Those little silver release pins to make it easier to remove road tires constantly shift side to side making your levers for further to pull. There is also nothing holding them in so if one pops out on a ride (like mine) you better carry a screw or something the same size to jam in there.

Newer is better
Back to life. Way better stopping power than what was on before. Clean black hoods feel good under hands.

Good, Affordable Brake Levers
I installed these brake levers on an old bike that had cheap levers with no hoods. These look much better, and have a large hoods which are more comfortable to ride on. I like that they have a quick release button so you can open up ther brake calipers when taking the wheel off or fixing a flat. The bodies are a thick plastic material but they look pretty substantial, and the levers are aluminum.

Really nice brake levers
These are hands down excellent for the price! They are really good quality and at an unbeatable price. I really like the function that lets you remove the wheel from your bike (it has a little button you can push on each one of them). This feature also helps with tightening your brakes nice and tight!

Decent replacement levers for our old bikes. Nice size to fit hand on, and good access to levers from the hood position.

Great brakes for the price. I like the rubber coating, it's comfortable to hold.

Great breaks overall, I'm happy with the feel and construction, however the pin to set the break angle fell out while riding. The company should supply extra pins or add a flared edge so they can't fall out.

I really couldn't pass up these brake levers as they looked so cool, even elegant! They sold for about the same price of what it would cost for the black hoods alone which I would have bought to go along with the brake levers which I presently had. However, had it not been for the fact that the black hoods on these levers which came complete as one unit had such good coverage that I decided to buy them instead lest I buy a stand alone pair of black hoods that for whatever reason didn't fit right. Along with the black cushy handlebar wraps that I bought, I really ended up with a real professional upgrade to my old vintage Miele bike which originally came with these thin white wraps that really showed the dirt.
