I have never been able to follow an intuitive eating plan. I would always end up overeating, until I found this plate. This is such great value for the money, the design is awesome, and the material is sturdy. I love using my plate, and finally I can portion control properly and not overeat. Eye catching and colorful way to remind the seniors I work with in nutrition training classes how to manage their portions and meals. I bought these to use in class and pass them around so everyone can get an up front and personal view of what their meals are SUPPOSED to look like. Very helpful. Lightweight so even the oldest participant can hold them easily.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Whenever my autistic grandson was away from home, he would overeat. This divided and labeled plate was just the thing he needed to visualize portion sizes. With this plate, I didn't have to worry about him overeating because he could use the plate as a guide to determine how much of any type of food he could eat. The plate enabled him to take charge of how much he ate. He lost 20% of his body weight and is no longer considered obese or pre-diabetic! We've used the plate for almost a year now and the markings have not faded or flaked. It appears to be made of melanine so I have never used it in the microwave.

It helps greatly to control your portions, and I like the various colors. Besides, the price was very reasonable.

LOVE this plate!!! It is an excellent teaching tool and an excellent way to learn portion sizes that are optimal for weight loss and adding more plant diversity.

These plates make eating differently than I used to fun. It helps me portion proteins and carbs. I have used them in microwave and dishwasher and they still look good.
